Players now have a sneak peek into the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.3 and 2.4 banners, thanks to new leaks. If you’re wondering who might be joining the game soon, this leak gives us a pretty good idea of what’s coming. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming banners, including the new Wuthering Wave 2.4 banner.
Wuthering Waves 2.3 Banner Characters Leaked
The version 2.3 banner will feature two new 5-star characters:
- Zani is a Spectro element user who fights with Gauntlets. She’s known for her strict and loyal personality and is tied to the story from Rinascita. According to the leaks, Zani will be in the first phase of the WuWa 2.3 banner.
- Ciaccona is a Bard character and uses the Aero element. She wields a Broadblade and is expected to be featured in the second phase of the banner.
Moreover, trusted leakers like Hunter x Hunter are guessing which characters might show up in the next update.
In Phase 1, we could Zani alongside three 4-stars: Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu. Then in Phase 2, there might be Ciaccona, along with Danjin, Mortefi, and Yangyang as 4-stars.
2.3 banners (no reruns apparently)

At first, people thought version 2.3 wouldn’t have any rerun characters, but then another leaker, WuwaLand, found some splash art that shows old Resonators might return too.
Players might also get rerun for Yinlin, Jiyan, and Xiangli Yao during WuWa 2.3 banner. So even if you missed them before, there could be another chance to grab them.
What’s coming in Wuthering Wave 2.4 Banner?
The Wuthering Wave 2.4 banner is expected to introduce two more new characters:
- Cartethyia, a 5-star Sword user with the Aero element. She was briefly seen in the Rinascita questline and now looks set to become a playable character.
- Lupa, another new 5-star character, is rumored to use the Fusion element. We don’t yet know what weapon she uses or how she plays, but her addition has caught a lot of attention.
