Wuthering Waves Cantarella Kit: Skills, Liberation, and Abilities Leaked

Cantarella is a new Resonator coming to the Wuthering Waves 2.2 update. She’s a 5-star unit with the Havoc Attribute and uses a Rectifier weapon. Leaks say she’s going to be an awesome sub-DPS who can also heal the whole team. On top of that, she has some pretty unique abilities that might make her stand out.

Here is all that we know about WuWa Cantarella kit, her skills, liberation, and other abilities. But, just keep in mind that all this info comes from leaks, so things could change.

Wuthering Waves Cantarella Kit Leaked

Normal Attack – Illusion Collapse

According to the leaks, Cantarella's Normal Attack – Illusion Collapse can have several components:

  • Basic Attack: She swings up to three times in a row, hitting enemies with Havoc DMG.
  • Heavy Attack: Uses up stamina for a strong strike that deals Havoc DMG.
  • Heavy Attack – Delusive Dive: When she enters Trance, her Heavy Attack changes into Delusive Dive. This move also uses stamina, deals Havoc DMG, and puts her in Mirage mode.
  • Mid-air Attack: She can attack while jumping, and slamming down with a Plunging Attack that deals Havoc DMG.
  • Dodge Counter: Right after dodging, pressing Normal Attack makes her strike back instantly, landing another hit of Havoc DMG.

With all these moves, Cantarella shines as a sub-DPS, delivering steady damage in different ways.

Resonance Skill – Dance with Shadows

Cantarella’s Resonance Skill comes in two types. She has a normal version, and then there’s a stronger one when she’s in Mirage mode. Here’s what each version does:

  • Graceful Waltz: In her standard form, Cantarella attacks the enemy, dealing Havoc DMG.
  • Flickering Reverie: While in Mirage, her Resonance Skill transforms into Flickering Reverie, dealing Havoc DMG and inflicting the "Hazy Dream" status on the enemy.

For The "Hazy Dream" status, it has the following effects:

  • Movement Speed Reduction: Decreases the enemy's movement speed for 6.5 seconds.
  • Startlement Activation: When the enemy takes damage, the "Hazy Dream" status is replaced by "Startlement," dealing additional Havoc DMG.
  • Damage Multiplier Reduction: If other Resonators trigger "Startlement," the damage multiplier is reduced by 50%.

This makes Cantarella great at keeping enemies in check while also helping the team deal more damage.

Resonance Liberation – Beneath the Sea

Cantarella’s Resonance Liberation – Beneath the Sea is a game-changer for her role as a sub-DPS and support in Wuthering Waves. When she activates it, she hits a target with Havoc DMG and gives everyone in the party a special buff called Diffusion.

With Diffusion active, every time a teammate lands a hit, Jelly Dreamweavers pop up and attack alongside them. These little helpers deal Havoc DMG just like a Basic Attack. This can happen up to three times per second and keeps going for 30 seconds or until the maximum number of Jelly Dreamweavers is out.

This ability ramps up the team’s damage fast, making fights smoother and way more powerful.

Intro Skill – Cruise

Wuthering Waves Cantarella’s Intro Skill – Cruise has two different effects.

  1. Ripple: Hits the enemy with Havoc DMG.
  2. Tidal Surge: If she’s in Mirage state, this attack packs an even stronger punch with extra Havoc DMG.

Using this skill also gives back 1 Trance, which helps her enter the Mirage state and pull off more powerful moves.

Outro Skill – Gentle Tentacles

Cantarella’s Outro Skill, Gentle Tentacles, makes your next Resonator hit way harder.

When you switch, the new Resonator gets a 20% boost to Havoc Damage and a 25% boost to Resonance Skill Damage for 14 seconds. But if you swap again before time’s up, the effect disappears.

This is super useful when bringing in a Resonator that thrives on extra damage, letting your team deal even more powerful attacks.

Forte Circuit – Between Illusion and Reality

Cantarella’s Forte Circuit makes her fights more exciting by letting her switch between illusion and reality. She can use her Mirage state to trick enemies while building up Trance and Tremor stacks to power up her attacks.

Mirage:

When Mirage is active, Cantarella gets a serious power boost.

  • Basic Attack turns into Phantom Sting, letting her strike up to three times in a row with Havoc DMG.
  • Mid-air Attack changes to Abysmal Vortex, where she dives down using stamina and deals Havoc DMG.
  • Dodge Counter becomes Shadowy Sweep, hitting enemies with Havoc DMG.

Every Phantom Sting hit eats up 1 Trance, gives 1 Tremor, and heals the whole team. Mirage sticks around for 8 seconds or until all Trance is gone.

Resonance Skill – Perception Drain:

Cantarella's Resonance Skill, Perception Drain, kicks in once you stack up three Tremors in Mirage. It hits enemies with Havoc DMG, slaps them with the Hazy Dream effect, and even heals the whole team. On top of that, using Perception Drain counts as an Echo Skill, making it work even better with other abilities.

Abyssal Rebirth:

Abyssal Rebirth makes Cantarella even better at supporting her team. After she uses her Intro Skill, every time a teammate uses an Echo Skill, they get back 5 Concerto Energy. This can happen up to four times in 25 seconds, helping the team keep their energy up. With this ability, Cantarella keeps the team running smoothly and makes sure everyone can use their skills more often.

Trance and Tremor Mechanics:

Cantarella’s combat style heavily relies on her Trance and Tremor abilities. These mechanics allow her to inflict significant damage while also offering healing support to her allies. Her role extends beyond offense, making her a valuable asset in battle.

Trance:

Cantarella can accumulate up to five Trance points, which are essential for activating her enhanced abilities:

  • Casting her Intro Skill.
  • Landing a Basic Attack Stage 3 hit.
  • Using her Resonance Skill, Graceful Waltz.
  • Casting her Resonance Liberation, Flowing Suffocation.
  • Recovering 1 Trance every 5 seconds when in water.

Managing Trance is crucial, as it powers her Mirage state and other abilities.

Tremor:

Cantarella can hold up to three Tremor stacks, which enhance her damage output:

  • Hitting the target with her Basic Attack, Phantom Sting.

When Cantarella stacks up three Tremors, her Resonance Skill changes into Perception Drain. This move hits with Havoc damage, puts Hazy Dream on the enemy, and heals the whole team.

Keeping an eye on Trance and Tremor helps her fight better, letting her deal big damage while still helping her teammates.

Thank you for your feedback.
