Wuthering Waves is gearing up for its 1.4 update, and it’s bringing some cool new stuff. Kuro Games has just revealed two new WuWa characters—a 5-star and a 4-star—plus there are leaks hinting at the return of a super popular character that fans love.

WuWa Camellya
First up, we have Camellya, a new 5-star character from Black Shores. She’s a Havoc character, and she’s the only new 5-star in this update, so everyone’s pretty hyped about her. If you’ve been playing the game, you might’ve already seen her in the story, especially in the "Huanglong 1" Chapter 1 Act 5. Lots of players have been waiting for her to be playable, and it looks like Camellya’s banner be featured in the first part of the Wuthering Waves 1.4 banner, which is expected to drop around mid-November.

WuWa Lumi
Next, there’s Lumi, a 4-star character from Huanglong. She was officially revealed on September 13, 2024, and she works as a navigator for Lollo Logistics. From the leaks, she’s expected to be an Electro character with a cute animal friend, but we don’t know much else about her yet. Players are eager to see more about Lumi, and we will get more details when the 1.4 beta starts.

Wuthering Waves 1.4 Rerun Banners: Yinlin’s Possible Return
Since Camellya is the only new 5-star character, it looks like the other banner in the WuWa 1.4 update might be a rerun of a fan favorite.
According to leaks from a reliable source, @witheringwww, Yinlin, who first appeared in the “Solitary Path” story quest, could be making a comeback. Yinlin is super popular because she is a 5-star character and has cool skills and an interesting story, so if you missed her before, this might be your chance to get her.
Wuthering Waves 1.4 Banner Release Date
While Kuro Games hasn’t said exactly when the 1.4 update will be released, it’s likely to be around mid-November 2024, based on how previous updates have been released. If that’s right, Camellya will probably show up in the first phase, with Yinlin’s rerun coming later in the second half.
