The League of Legends Patch 14.18 is out on the PBE, getting everything ready for the 2024 World Championship. The patch is gonna drop on September 11, 2024, and it’ll first hit the Oceanic servers. After that, it’ll roll out to other regions throughout the day.

LoL Patch 14.18 brings significant changes to several champions to shape the meta for Worlds. Champions like Ahri, Gnar, Jarvan IV, Jax, and Xin Zhao are getting buffs to increase their viability in both competitive and casual play.
On the other hand, champions like Ivern, Leona, Nasus, Rell, and Rumble are seeing nerfs. Leona's base armor is being reduced, while Rumble’s Flamespitter (Q) is facing cuts in both its base damage and AP scaling. These changes aim to balance the competitive play, ensuring no single champion dominates.
LoL Patch 14.18 also brings adjustments to several items, particularly those favored by ADCs (Attack Damage Carries). Bloodthirster and Immortal Shieldbow, two staple ADC items, are being nerfed to reduce their lifesteal and shield values. Meanwhile, Luden’s Companion and Shadowflame are receiving buffs to make them more appealing to AP champions.
