Riot Games has revealed the Valorant 2024 Champions collection to celebrate the year's premier competitive event.
Champions bundles are known for their unique effects that justify their high prices, and the 2024 edition continues this trend. This article covers everything you need to know about the limited-time Valorant Champions 2024 Bundle, including its release date, cost, and appealing skins.
Valorant Champions 2024 Bundle
Previous leaks had indicated that the Champions 2024 bundle would feature a Phantom skin and a sword. Riot Games has now officially confirmed these leaks, announcing that the bundle will include a Phantom skin and a Katana melee, which is reminiscent of the Sovereign 2.0 sword with some modifications.
The Champions 2024 bundle includes:

- Katana Melee
The color scheme and design are similar to the 2023 Champions bundle, which featured the Vandal and Kunai. However, this time these new weapons offer some of the most impressive animations seen in any Champions bundle. The animations include a finisher with a built-in aim trainer in the form of floating asteroids and the ability to hold a trophy at the center of the animation.
The Champion aura is making a return, meaning the Phantom skin will glow when the player wielding it has the most kills in the lobby. When the VCT logo fills in, the skin achieves the same gold finish as the Valorant Champions trophy. The Phantom's finisher is particularly spectacular, showcasing each enemy the player has killed in a "supernova explosion" suspended alongside the Champions trophy.
Valorant Champions 2024 Gunbuddy, Playercard, and Spray
In addition to the weapon skins, details about the Gunbuddy, Playercard, and Spray included in the Valorant Champions 2024 Bundle have also been revealed.
For the first time, a melee skin in Valorant will be able to hold a Buddy. This feature was shown in the Champions 2024 skin reveal trailer on YouTube. Around 30 seconds into the trailer, a Buddy can be seen hanging from the end of the long blade. A clearer image of the Buddy on this skin was shared in a post on X.
This wasn't the only new feature for the Champions 2024 skin bundle. Players can trigger unique kill banners, and the VCT logo on the back of the Phantom will light up progressively as players accumulate kills.
Valorant Champions 2024 Skin Bundle Release Date and Price
The bundle will be available on live servers starting Thursday, Aug. 1, just in time for the 2024 VALORANT Champions tournament in Seoul, Korea. According to Riot, the bundle will remain in the store until the end of the tournament on Sunday, Aug. 25.
And while the exact price has not been disclosed, the Champions 2024 bundle is expected to cost 6,167 Valorant Points, approximately $60. Despite the high cost, the bundle's finisher and Melee Buddy make it a worthwhile investment.
The detailed price breakdown for the bundle's components is as follows:
- Phantom: 2675 VP
- Melee: 5350 VP
- Spray: 325 VP
- Gun Buddy: 475 VP
- Player Card: 375 VP
