Genshin Impact Xilonen kit has been revealed by new 5.1 leaks, including some hits at her elemental skills, burst, passive, constellations, and more.

HoYoverse has already introduced several new Natlan characters that will be released in Genshin Impact with and after version 5.0, and one of these characters is Xilonen. This character is highly anticipated because of her unique abilities and versatile support role.
Now, leaks have given us an exact look into her Genshin Impact Xilounen abilities, including her elemental skills, passive abilities, constellations, and more.
Who is Genshin Impact Xilonen?
Xilonen is a Geo element character and is also one of the newest additions from the Natlan region in Genshin Impact. She will supposedly be a 5-star character; hence, she'll be extremely rare and powerful.
Leaks say that Xilonen will be a sword user, much like the already-released character Keqing. What's even more interesting is that her design happens to be one of the most beautiful in Natlan, inspired by none other than the Aztec goddess of agriculture, Chicōmecōātl, sometimes referred to as Xilonen.
Xilonen's kit is penciled in to give maximum support, making her a strong candidate for several team compositions.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Normal Attack
Xilonen's normal attacks allow her to perform up to five rapid sword strikes, with a charged attack consuming stamina to unleash two powerful strikes. A unique aspect of her kit is that her charged attacks cause enemies to lose gravity, which could introduce new strategic opportunities in combat.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Elemental Skill
Her Elemental Skill, known as Nightsoul’s Blessing, transforms Xilonen into a Leopard Spirit, greatly enhancing her movement speed.
Here is what the leaks have revealed:
Elemental Skill
- Enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state as a Leopard Spirit, during which she can move quickly. Using Elemental Skill again will exit this state
- Nightsoul initially has a 6s countdown. Hitting an enemy within this state will add 2s to the countdown. If the countdown reaches 12s, will exit Nightsoul and enter an Enhanced state, lasting for 2s.
- The countdown will pause while climbing.
Elemental Skill Jewllery FX
- During Nightsoul, Xilonen's 3 jewels will light up the with colors of the Elements of her teammates:
- First light up a number jewels equal to the number of Pyro characters, then Electro, then Hydro, then Cryo. Finally, all remaining vacancies will light up with Geo, if any.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Elemental Burst
Xilonen’s Elemental Burst is where her Leopard Spirit truly shines. When unleashed, the spirit attaches to the active character and provides various buffs based on the number of Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo, and Geo characters in the team. This versatility makes Xilonen a universal support character, as she can amplify the effectiveness of nearly any team composition.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Passive Talents
Xilonen’s passive talents further enhance her support capabilities.
- Records the number of Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and Cryo characters in the team.
- Records the number of Geo and non-Geo characters in the team.
- Provides buff(s) according to these numbers.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Constellations
Her constellations, which are additional abilities unlocked as players obtain duplicate copies of her, are equally intriguing.
- C1: Reduces Nightsoul consumption rate. Furthermore, the on-field unit's resistance to interruption increases during the aura duration.
- C2: Provides more buffs depending on the party members' elements:
- Pyro - 30% ATK increase
- Hydro - 40% HP increase
- Cryo - 20% CRIT DMG increase
- Geo - 60% CRIT Rate increase
- Electro - Information unavailable
- C4: When the Halo exists, the active unit's Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased based on Xilonen's DEF%.
- C6: Provides an additional bonus for all types of attack.
Genshin Impact Xilonen Release Date
While an official release date for Xilonen is not available yet, leaks suggest that she will become a playable character with a version 5.1 update, which would be coming around October 9, 2024. The release of this character follows the game's standard update drop of around six weeks per new version.
Also, assuming the leaks are real, the availability of Xilonen would be from October 9 or in the following weeks, most probably within phase one of the 5.1 banners.
All in all, Xilonen is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new characters in Genshin Impact. According to the leaked kit, Xilonen would be an extremely versatile support character who could give any team composition buffs and debuffs accordingly. As always, though, these are just leaks, so do take them with a grain of salt until HoYoverse confirms more about her kit and eventual release date.
