League of Legends 14.15 Patch Notes

After a long hiatus from Riot, League of Legends patch 14.15 brings more changes to the MOBA. This includes additional improvements to items as well as adjustments to melee assassins such as Zed, Irelia, and Yasuo.

The item that practically every champion needs, boots, has undergone the most significant change. Although no exact numbers have been released, Riot Phroxzon has taken pains to justify these adjustments. Despite the great popularity and success of Riot's Swarm, a significant portion of the player community is still grinding the leaderboard. Hence changes are being made to this mode too.

LoL 14.15 Patch Notes

The LoL Patch 14.15 will implement changes to a number of melee assassins. Zed, Yone, Yasuo, Irelia, and Akali all undergo massive changes that alter their power. This patch also includes several adjustments for Cassiopeia.

As for Boots, Riot Phroxzon has provided background on the planned changes to Boots. Defensive boots have been very successful in high-level play for some time now, although they are less desirable at lower levels. As a result, everyone is being nerfed; several of them will get an increase in cost in addition to lowering their effective resistance and other metrics. On the other hand, MR items like Abyssal Mask and Wit's End are being buffed.

Additionally, the second set of Anima Squad skins will be available in Patch 14.15 after the first batch was released in LoL Patch 14.14. Adding to Leona's already extensive collection of skins, Aatrox gets her legendary skin.

Riot has released a summary of the system tweaks, champion nerfs, champion buffs, and champion adjustments that will be present in the upcoming patch ahead of the release of the complete League of Legends 14.15 patch notes.
