Jiaoqiu is a foxian healer from Xianzhou Yaoqing, serving as a counselor. Despite his friendly demeanor, he is quite cunning. Born into a prestigious Alchemy Commission family, he initially stepped back from medicine due to heartbreak but returned to treat General Feixiao's condition known as "the Merlin's Claw."
As of now, he is reported to be added to the game with the HSR 2.4 banner, and we might see him in the latter half of the update.

Basic ATK: Heart Afire
Deals Physical DMG equal to 100% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to a single enemy.
Skill: Scorch Onslaught
Deals Fire DMG equal to 180% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to a single enemy and Fire DMG equal to 90% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to enemies adjacent to it. Has a 100% base chance to inflict 1 stack of Ashen Roast on the primary target.
Ultimate: Earthbind, Etherbreak
Sets the number of Ashen Roast stacks on enemy targets to the highest number of Ashen Roast stacks present on the battlefield. Then, activates a Field and deals Fire DMG equal to 200% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to all enemies.
While inside the field, enemy targets take 15% more Ultimate DMG, with a 60% base chance of being inflicted with 1 stack of Ashen Roast when taking action. This effect can only be triggered once for enemies in each turn.
The Field lasts for 3 turn(s), and its duration decreases by 1 at the start of this unit's every turn. If Jiaoqiu is knocked down, the Field will also be dispelled.
Downed State: An ally will be incapacitated once their HP is reduced to 0.
Counter: An effect that automatically triggers when the target is attacked, which unleashes an extra attack on the attacker. Counter is also considered a follow-up attack.
Talent: Quartet Finesse, Octave Finery
When Jiaoqiu uses his Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate to hit an enemy, there is a 100% base chance of dealing 1 stack of Ashen Roast, increasing the initial DMG enemies receive by 15%, with each stack additionally increasing DMG by 5% to a max of 5 stack(s). Ashen Roast will last 2 turn(s).
Attack
Attacks an enemy, and when the battle starts, reduces their Toughness of the corresponding Type.
Technique: Fiery Queller
After using Technique, creates a special dimension that lasts for 15 second(s). After engaging enemies in the dimension, deals Fire DMG equal to 100% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to all enemies and has a 100% base chance of applying 1 Ashen Roast stack. Only 1 dimension created by allies can exist at the same time.
Honkai Star Rail Jiaoqiu Traces
The following are HSR Jiaoqiu traces and their effects:
- Pyre Cleanse: When a Field exists, the enemies' Effect Hit Rate is reduced by 30.0%. At the start of each turn, they receive Fire Additional DMG equal to 150.0% of Jiaoqiu's ATK.
- Hearth Kindle: When Jiaoqiu's Effect Hit Rate is higher than 80.0%, for each 15.0% exceeded, Jiaoqiu additionally gains 60.0% ATK, up to a maximum of 240.0%.
- Seared Scent: When a Field exists, enemies entering combat will be inflicted with Ashen Roast stacks. The number of stacks applied will match the highest number of Ashen Roast stacks inflicted while the Field is active, with a minimum of 1.0 stack(s).
Honkai Star Rail Jiaoqiu Eidolons
- Eidolon 1: Pentapathic Transference
When an ally attacks an enemy target afflicted with Ashen Roast, increases DMG dealt by 48.0%. Each time the Talent triggers Ashen Roast, it additionally increases the present Ashen Roast stacks by 1.0.
- Eidolon 2: From Savor Comes Suffer
Ashen Roast can be considered as a Burn status. Enemies with Ashen Roast will suffer Fire DoT equal to 300.0% of Jiaoqiu's ATK at the start of each turn.
- Eidolon 3: Flavored Euphony Reigns Supreme
Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
- Eidolon 4: Leisure In, Luster Out
When the Field exists, reduces enemy target's ATK by 15.0%.
- Eidolon 5: Duel in Dawn, Dash in Dusk
Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Eidolon 6: Nonamorphic Pyrobind
When an enemy target is eliminated, their accumulated "Ashen Roast" stacks will transfer to the enemy on the field with the lowest number of "Ashen Roast" stacks. The maximum stack limit of "Ashen Roast" increases to 9.0, and each stack of "Ashen Roast" reduces the target's All-Type RES by 3.0%.
Honkai Star Rail Jiaoqiu Release Date
Jiaoqiu is expected to debut in the second phase of Honaki Star Rail 2.4 banner, speculated to start on August 21. But this date might change, so stay tuned for official announcements.
