Genshin Impact Mondstadt and Liyue domain changes will be coming in the next version 4.8, claims new leaks.
Genshin Impact Mondstadt and Liyue Domain Changes in Version 4.8 Leak |
Genshin Impact, the popular game made by miHoYo, is getting big changes in its Version 4.8 update. Some leaks recently showed that they're focusing on the Mondstadt and Liyue Domains. This means it'll be easier for players to get the stuff they need to upgrade their characters in these regions.
While Genshin Impact has figured out its style for the game world, fighting, and team setups, some of the older stuff, like certain Domains and characters, feel outdated compared to the newer ones. Let’s discuss this Genshin Impact Mondstadt and Liyue Domains changes in version 4.8 leak in detail.
Genshin Impact Mondstadt and Liyue Domains Changes
The modifications are set to be implemented in the Mondstadt and Liyue Domains in the upcoming Genshin Impact 4.8 update. Previously, the Domains in these regions were designed with a high level of difficulty, requiring players to build specialized teams to counter the challenges within the Domains. However, with the new update, the developers have decided to reduce the difficulty of these early Mondstadt and Liyue Domains.
The changes include the removal of certain debuffs such as Engulfing Storm and Condensed Ice, and alterations to the enemy line-ups, either reducing their numbers or changing them into an easier combination. For instance, the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain will now feature a single Ruin Guard instead of three Abyss Mages.
The only two Domains left unchanged are the Midsummer Courtyard in Mondstadt and the Taishan Mansion in Liyue.
So basically, the new way they're designing the game is seen as a good thing. It's making the game more fun for more people and might bring in new characters. This should make the game better for everyone, letting more people play and enjoy it.
Affected Mondstadt and Liyue Domains in Genshin Impact 4.8 Update
Two specific Domains in these regions will undergo changes in the upcoming Genshin Impact 4.8 update. Here are the specific changes for each affected Domain:
- Peak of Vindagnyr: The enemy line-up in this Domain has been nerfed, making it less challenging for players.
- Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula: The enemy line-up has been nerfed, and the Overload punishment has been removed. Additionally, a 75% Cryo damage bonus has been added.
- Domain of Guyun: The enemy line-up has been nerfed, and the Melt punishment has been removed. A shockwave has been added when triggering Superconduct.
- Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern: The enemy line-up has been nerfed, and a 75% Geo damage bonus has been added.
- Forsaken Rift: The enemy line-up has been nerfed, and the Condensed Ice debuff has been removed. A 75% Pyro damage bonus has been added too.
- Cecilia Garden: The enemy line-up has been nerfed, and the Slowing Water debuff has been removed. A 75% electro-damage bonus has also been added.
- Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula: The Engulfing Storm debuff has been removed, and a 75% Hydro damage bonus has been added.
Well, Genshin Impact fans will be happy about the recent changes, especially if they're new and haven't leveled up their Mondstadt stuff yet. Some think this timing hints at more Mondstadt characters coming as Mondstadt still lacks a Dendro character, unlike other regions.
As for the upcoming Natlan region, new combat mechanics are expected, possibly with a level cap increase to 100. So, the easier Genshin Impact Mondstadt and Liyue domains could be useful for all players, new and old.
