Kuro Games' popular game, Wuthering Waves, is releasing its exciting version 1.1, called Thaw of Eons, on Friday, June 28. This update is packed with new content for players to enjoy, including a fresh story, new areas to explore, and new echoes.
In this article, we’ll break down all the new echoes coming in the update and their special Echo Skills, so you can decide which ones to focus on for your builds.
All New Wuthering Waves 1.1 Echoes
In the new Wuthering Waves 1.1 update, "Thaw of Eons," seven new echoes are coming. This includes the big boss, Sentinel Jue, and six other echoes. Each Echo has unique abilities and costs, which will add more depth and variety to the gameplay.
- Sentinel Jue: This Echo is a confirmed boss fight in the 1.1 update. After defeating it in battle, players can collect it. It’s speculated that Jue’s Sonata Effect may be Celestial Light due to its close ties with Jinhsi. Summon Jue to attack enemies, dealing Spectral damage. The Resonator can use a Resonance Skill to inflict continuous Spectral damage over time.
- Lumiscale Construct: This is a 3-Cost Echo. It transforms into a Lumiscale Construct and enters a Parry Stance. When attacked, it performs a Counterattack. If it parries a Special Skill attack, it interrupts it and deals extra damage.
- Clang Bang: This is a 1-Cost Echo. It summons a Clang Bang that follows the enemy and eventually self-combusts, dealing Glacio DMG.
- Dwarf Cassowary: This is a 1-Cost Echo. It summons a Dwarf Cassowary to attack, dealing Physical DMG.
- Lava Larva: This is a 1-Cost Echo5. It summons a Lava Larva that continuously attacks enemies, dealing Fusion DMG.
- Glacio Dreadmane: This is a 3-Cost Echo. It transforms into a Glacio Dreadmane to deal consecutive attacks. It can be cast in mid-air.
- Lightcrusher: This is a 3-Cost Echo. It transforms into a Lightcrusher to deal consecutive attacks. It can be cast in mid-air.
In addition to the Echoes, version 1.1 of Wuthering Waves also brings a host of other updates. These include earning more Union EXP from Echoes, raising the max Data Bank level to 21 for full 5-star Echoes, introducing Tuner Synthesis (convert 5 purple Tuners into 1 gold), additional regional Echo puzzles, and removing tacet field animations.
