2XKO release date is set for early 2025, claims a new leak from a reliable source.
2XKO Release Date Set For Early 2025, Claims Leak |
Riot Games, the famous creator of the MOBA game “League of Legends,” is gearing up to shake up the gaming world once more with their new 2v2 fighting game called "2XKO". And the recent rumors from a reliable source suggest it's coming out soon.
2XKO Release Date
Daniel Richtman, a reliable source for gaming, TV shows, and movies, recently shared updates about the release date of 2XKO.
Riot Games had previously announced that it would come out in 2025. However, Richtman provided more details, suggesting that Riot Games is aiming for an early 2025 release.
According to his latest rumor, the game might launch as soon as January 2025, which is approximately six months away from now. However, this is a targeted release date and could be subject to change as development continues.
What to Expect from 2XKO?
Riot announced this new LoL game in November 2021 as "Project L", recently renamed 2XKO, which is pronounced as "two-ex-kay-oh." But there haven't been any updates on its release date since then. However, they have shared details about what players can expect and the various characters that will be in the game's lineup.
It's described as blending Riot's work on the original League of Legends with the style of Netflix's popular anime series "Arcane," which is based on the game.
Riot hinted before that various champions from League of Legends would appear in Project L. Initially, they showcased Ahri, Ekko, and Jinx as playable characters. Later, they confirmed that more champions, such as Illaoi, the Kraken Priestess, would also be part of the game.
Each character will have a combination of close-range attacks, abilities to summon tentacles, and skills to control areas, aiming to overpower their opponents.
2XKO isn’t just another fighting game—it’s a 2v2 tag-based fighter. In this game, each player controls two characters and can switch between them during the match.
The game’s controls include buttons for light, medium, and heavy attacks, plus two buttons specifically for special moves. Players can perform super moves by pressing down twice and one of the special move buttons. Furthermore, 2XKO offers special defensive options similar to those found in "Guilty Gear Strive Season 3.
Well, 2XKO will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC. It's likely to be free-to-play, similar to “League of Legends” and “VALORANT”, though Riot Games hasn't confirmed this yet.
Overall, Riot Games is gearing up to launch a new fighting game 2XKO that's expected to shake up the gaming world. And if rumors are true, players can look forward to an exciting experience when the game comes out in early 2025.
