Ubisoft, the company developing the highly anticipated free game XDefiant, has started letting players download the game before it officially comes out. This means gamers can start playing right away when it's released. This is just one of the updates from Ubisoft as we get closer to the game's release. Let's take a closer look at this announcement.
Xdefiant Preload Date and Phase
Pre-loading is a feature that allows players to download a game before its official release date. In the case of XDefiant, Ubisoft has announced a pre-load phase, which means that players will be able to download the game ahead of its launch.
The XDefiant game preload starts on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT / 6 PM BST. You can preload it on PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation at the same time. The official XDefiant Twitter account confirmed this preload date and also shared a plan for the week before the launch.
Starting on May 16, there will be a new launch trailer released along with the preload. Then, on May 20, another new trailer will come out, showing the Battle Pass. Finally, on May 21, the game servers will go online, marking the start of its preseason official release.

How to preload XDefiant PC?
If you're playing on a PC, you can get XDefiant by going to the Ubisoft store and downloading it there before it officially releases. Unlike some other games on PC, you won't find XDefiant on Steam, so you'll need to use Ubisoft's platform, called Ubisoft Connect, to download it.
