In Honkai Star Rail, players have the option to choose between two paths Trailblazer - Destruction and Preservation, with a lot more paths planned to be introduced in the future. While this feature is typically been exclusive to the main character, a recent leak from credible sources indicates that Honkai Star Rail is set to shake things up by introducing something similar for HSR March 7th.
Now, it appears that a leaked version of Honkai: Star Rail March 7th's new form shows a well-known character taking a very different tack than regular gamers are used to.
Honkai Star Rail March 7th New Form: New Splash Art and Dual Blades
March 7th travels with the Trailblazers to the various stars and planets in the in-game universe as a member of the Astral Express. However, leaked information indicates that she may soon get a new form, marked by a significant change in weapons, and potentially even her Path and elemental affiliation.
According to a leak from a reliable third-party source, hxg_diluc, the official splash art for March 7th will include characters from Xianzhou, a significant group in Honkai: Star Rail that is led by Aeon Lan. Additionally, it is rumored that she will wield dual blades in her new form.
Furthermore, another leak purportedly reveals the texture of March 7th's blades, depicting a black and red sword with a beige-colored hilt. Interestingly, the design incorporates elements resembling a tree branch emerging from the hilt, alongside imagery similar to that of March 7th's iconic light blue and pink flower theme, reminiscent of the Mara infection and the Xianzhou Luofu enemies.
However, this isn’t the first time that we have heard of the March 7th new form.
In the HSR 2.1 Livestream, Honkai franchise writer Shaoji disclosed that HSR March 7th will also get a path-choosing mechanism similar to that of the Trailblazer. Shaoji said, “She (March 7th) will have a system similar to switching Paths that is unique to her. But for her it might not be walking on a new path, but rather creating memories.”
Shaoji goes on to say that March 7th's system will involve creating memories rather than walking a new path, with her strength growing through the memories she forms on her journey. The exact mechanics of this system remain a mystery, but it's speculated that March 7th will gain a new set of abilities that players can select and integrate into her kit.
While the details surrounding March 7th's new form remain uncertain, and no release date has been confirmed in the Honkai Star Rail leak, players can anticipate its introduction in upcoming updates. Additionally, the rumored new form for March 7th could potentially coincide with the introduction of a new Path for the Preservation hero.
