In Honkai: Star Rail, relics function similarly to accessories in conventional role-playing games by enhancing a character's stat by a percentage. In contrast, Light Cones are the character's equivalent of weaponry in classic role-playing games, greatly enhancing their strength when equipped. Well, now, future HSR 2.3 Relic sets and Light Cones have been made public thanks to a recent Honkai Star Rail 2.3 leak by HomeDGCat, a reliable source.

The leak displays three 5-star Light Cones and four Relic sets that will be available in the HSR 2.3 update, along with special effects that the user will experience when using these items.

HSR 2.3 Relics and Light Cones

Four relic sets and three light cones will be added to Honkai: Star Rail in the future, according to a recent leak from HomeDGCat. One of the future HSR 2.3 relic sets is said to increase CRIT damage, and the others are said to increase damage output overall when using ultimate assaults or follow-up moves.

Moreover, according to the leak, one of the planned HSR 2.3 light cones—said to be created for a new HSR 2.3 character—will increase the user's Critical Rate and Break Effect prior to launching their final attack. It is also expected that two additional light cones would grant characters exclusive and temporary boosts.

Three brand-new 5-star Light Cones are reportedly scheduled to launch with the HSR 2.3 release, each offering distinct abilities and effects:

1. Limited-time 5-star Light Cone 1: Just before launching the ultimate attack, the first HSR 2.3 Light Cone will provide its wielder a notable increase in both their Critical Rate and Break Effect. Even the most formidable foes will suffer terrible blows from this powerful combo of effects.
2. Limited-time 5-star Light Cone 2: This HSR 2.3 Light Cone will grant a powerful boost to follow-up attack damage when the user's Attack (ATK) stat rises above a predetermined threshold. This defensive edge will surely be useful in long-term battles where timing and strategic posture are critical.
3. Herta Shop 5-star Light Cone: Leaks indicate that this HSR 2.3 Light Cone will immediately raise the user's ATK stat by a predetermined amount, while its exact functions are currently unknown. For individuals looking for pure offensive force, this Light Cone may be a sought-after option due to its simple yet potent effect.

Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Relic Sets Leaks

Apart from the light cones, four HSR 2.3 Relic sets that will be available to players in the 2.3 update have also been leaked.

1. Relic Set 1 (4-piece): When the wearer's Break Effect reaches a particular threshold, this set will allow them to bypass a part of their opponent's Defense (DEF). "When the wearer's Break Effect is greater than a certain value, their attacks will ignore some of the target's DEF. When the wearer's Break Effect is greater than some higher value, they will ignore more of the target's DEF."
2. Relic Set 2 (4-piece): The user will earn a stack of Boost when they perform their ultimate ability or launch a follow-up attack, increasing the amount of damage they can deal while using this HSR 2.3 Relic set. "When the wearer uses an Ultimate or before performing a follow-up attack, they gain 1 stack of Boost, increasing all DMG dealt, max 2 stacks. When the wearer's turn ends, all stacks of Boost are removed."
3. Relic Set 3 (2-piece): This HSR 2.3 Relic set gives the user a stack of Boost anytime an ally initiates a counterattack, rewarding well-coordinated teamwork. "When any ally performs a follow-up attack, the wearer gains 1 stack of Boost. Every stack of Boost increases the DMG dealt by the wearer's follow-up attacks. When Boost reaches max stacks, the wearer's Crit DMG is increased."
4. Relic Set 4 (2-piece): This set, which is meant to take advantage of elemental weaknesses, increases the user's Break Effect when they hit a target that has Fire Weakness for a predetermined number of turns. "When the wearer attacks a unit with Fire Weakness, the wearer's Break Effect is increased for a certain number of turns."

Well, the player base is getting excited as the 2.3 update for Honkai Star Rail draws near thanks to leaks revealing additional features. Leaks, however, should be taken with a grain of salt as changes can be made anytime to the items before they are released in the main game.
