Legends of Legends Heavenscale skins are being released for Smolder and other champs in the LoL 14.3 patch, in honor of the Year of the Dragon.

As it's traditional with Riot, the LoL developers typically celebrate all the major holidays, including Halloween, Christmas, and Lunar New Year.
Riot released the Lunar Guardians and Mythmaker skin lines last year to begin the celebration. Now, as part of LoL Lunar 2024, we will be receiving the Heavenscale skin line, which will include two Prestige Skins and a Legendary. The new skin collection is all set to hit the gaming screen on February 7th with the release of the LoL 14.3 patch. Isn't that exciting? That being said, let's get right to the details of the League of Legends Heavenscale skins.
League of Legends Heavenscale Skins
Similar to earlier New Year's skinlines, all of the Heavenscale skins have an assortment of red and gold elements that adorn each champion's outfit as well as their skills. Based in a universe of Dragon Lineages, the skins are inspired by a Chinese novel that Riot created. And each skin bears a large dragon emblem.
Each champion's weapon also incorporates elements of jade, a nod to the gem's significance in Chinese culture while blending it in with the skin's natural colors.

With the release of the new LoL Heavenscale skinline, which includes flamboyant and festive new designs for Lee Sin, Ezreal, Janna, Diana, Master Yi, Kai'Sa, and the newest dragon champion, Smolder, the influence of dragons on Summoner's Rift is expected to grow significantly.
Since Smolder will be making his public debut in Patch 14.3, it is unclear when exactly these skins will be made available for testing on live servers.
Currently, these new LoL Heavenscale skins are accessible for testing on the PBE. However, the League is expected to welcome these new additions when Patch 14.3 launches on February 7th, 2024.

Riot hasn't yet released the splash art for the LoL Heavenscale skin collection, but the PBE contains several images from this upcoming skinline.
Ezreal will receive the Prestige Heavenscale skin, which darkens the scarlet of his clothing into crimson and enhances the number of jade assets that show on the skin, as was revealed at the 2024 season overview.
Also, it looks like Riot Games will be releasing two variants of Lee Sin's Legendary-tier Heavenscale skin; however, it's not clear if these will function similarly to Cosmic and Dark Cosmic Lux or if Riot will instead develop a Mythic Variant of the skin.
