On Tuesday, January 22, 2024, the Fortnite 28.10 update will go offline. An official tweet from Fortnite says, "Nothing to see here..." "Downtime will start at 4:00 AM ET, with matchmaking being disabled shortly beforehand."

For players in the UK, this means that matchmaking will be disabled at 8.30am GMT and Fortnite will go completely offline at 9am GMT. Accordingly, Fortnite should return online by no later than 11 a.m. UK time on GMT.
