According to a report from July 2023, at least five games from Insomniac Games are set to come out between Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 and FY 2030. Even with this knowledge, only one of these games has been officially announced, which has gamers excited and speculating.
According to the leaks there are the following games lined up:
- Marvel's Venom in Fall 2025
- Marvel's Wolverine in Fall 2026
- Marvel's Spider-Man 3 in Fall 2028
- New Ratchet & Clank in Fall 2029
- Marvel's X-Men in Fall 2030
Notably, only one of these games has been officially announced to the public so far. But, the only game everyone's talking about is Wolverine. It is anticipated to come out around the fiscal year 2026, as per the leaked timeline.
Furthermore, the game studio is apparently working on a new project - New IP scheduled for release in 2031 or 2032. There's not much information available about this upcoming game, but leaked details suggest that a Marvel's X-Men game might be in the works.
Concept art for Marvel's Wolverine has surfaced, featuring characters like Mystique, Jean Grey, Sabertooth, and more, indicating a connection to the X-Men universe. Insomniac Games seems to be building up to a big finale with Marvel's X-Men.
Additionally, the studio is looking into the possibility of creating a standalone Venom game, as mentioned in their recent comments.
