Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Banners
Information on these three characters arrives from a trusted leaker, stepleaker, revealing that Black Swan, Sparkle, and Misha are set to be featured in the HSR 2.0 banners.
According to leaks, Black Swan, a five-star wind-type character on The Nihility Path, will debut in the first phase around February 2024, with the second phase introducing Sparkle in March 2024. Meanwhile, details about Misha's release remain undisclosed.
Black Swan is a 5-star wind-type character who follows The Nihility's path. She is described as a mysterious soothsayer, a Memokeeper at the Garden of Recollection. She is someone who enjoys gathering unusual memories, although those around her are unsure of why.
Sparkle, a Quantum unit, is aligned with the Path of Harmony and is affiliated with the Masked Fools. She is a cunning and enigmatic member of the Masked Fools. Although HoYoverse has not yet formally announced her release date in Honkai Star Rail, she will make her debut alongside the recently added Penacony area in the version 2.0 update.
Misha is a forthcoming Destruction character from the Ice element, according to the official reveal. As a result, he will inevitably have access to a kit that deals damage. He is a kind and considerate person, according to many who know her. He is employed at The Reverie Hotel as a bellhop until he follows in his grandfather's footsteps and embarks on interplanetary travels. Misha has been putting a lot of effort into working toward this goal.
Although these leaks provide light on the new characters' powers, information on the release of new 4-star characters or the characters that appear on Black Swan and Sparkle's banners is still unknown. Developers and data miners are probably going to provide additional details about these HSR 2.0 banners as the release date draws near.
Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Banner Release Date
The Honkai Star Rail 2.0 banner's official release date remains unconfirmed but is speculated to be around February 2024, after the HSR 1.6 banner release, based on similar game release patterns. However, players should rely on official announcements from miHoYo for precise information.
The following section contains information about the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 2.0 banner characters, including their leaked kit, traces, light cone, voice actors, and more.
Honkai Star Rail Black Swan
The Garden of Recollection's Memokeeper is Black Swan in Honkai Star Rail. "Myriad Celestia Trailer: Fables About the Stars Part 1," from HoYoverse provided a little teaser for the character. The documentary didn't provide much information regarding the lore of the enigmatic Memokeeper, therefore not much is known about her. However, leaks indicate that Black Swan will be a Wind element Nihility character, following in the footsteps of Silver Wolf, Pela, and Kafka, among other well-known characters.
The other 5-star in this patch, Sparkle, will presumably make her debut in the second half of version 2.0, while Black Swan will most likely make hers in the first.
HSR Black Swan Abilities
According to leaked information, her abilities are as follows;
Skill:
Deals wind damage equal to 60% of Black Swan's attack to a designated enemy and its adjacent targets with a 100% base chance to reduce the defense of each enemy by 27.0% for 3 turns.
Ultimate:
Deals wind damage equal to 96% of Black Swan's attack power to the entire enemy team and strengthens the target's [Fate Card] effect for 2 turns. Strengthened [Fate Card] reduces the target's effect resistance by 17.5% and can be considered as any 1 Damage Over Time type negative status. The enhanced [Fate Card] does not reset its level after the target deals damage at the beginning of its turn, and the effect is triggered a maximum of 1 time during the duration of the enhancement.
Talent:
When an enemy target takes Damage Over Time, Black Swan has a 60% base chance to apply [Fate Card] to the target, which can be triggered 4 times per unit per action. The target of the [Fate Card] will take wind damage equal to 155% of the Black Swan's attack at the beginning of the turn.
[Fate Card] has a level mechanic, with an initial level of 1. Apply [Fate Card] again to a target that has already had it increases the level of [Fate Card] by 1. When [Fate Card] deals damage at the beginning of the target's turn, it has additional effects depending on the level:
- Greater than or equal to level 1: Each level additionally increases damage equal to 31% of Black Swan's attack power.
- Greater than or equal to level 3: Deals additional damage equal to 90% of the original damage to adjacent targets.
- Greater than or equal to level 6: Ignores 22.5% of the target's defense.
[Destiny Card] Resets the level to 1 at the beginning of the target's turn after dealing damage.
Technique:
After using the secret technique: draw 1 Fate Crystal (physical, fire, lightning, or wind) that you do not already hold, up to a maximum of 4 Fate Crystals at the same time. When entering battle, Black Swan consumes all the Fate Crystal it holds, and for each one consumed, triggers a Weakness Break effect with a 100% damage multiplier on every single enemy with a corresponding attribute weakness, depending on the attribute of the consumed Fate Crystal.
