Rocksteady's newest game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, set in the Batman: Arkham trilogy's universe, is currently scheduled for a February 2, 2024 release, a delay of almost a year from its original May 2023 window.

In its debut episode, the team shared the details of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's story and gameplay, showcasing numerous cinematics that detail specific quests within the main storyline. They also highlight gameplay mechanics like shooting, using superpowers, platforming, and more.
Described as a "genre-blending action-adventure shooter," Suicide Squad is set against the open-world backdrop of Metropolis. The storyline follows Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark on a mission to save Earth by neutralizing the world's greatest DC superheroes, the Justice League.
Based on early information and new gameplay reveals, fans showcased their concerns regarding live service elements and mandatory online play in single-player mode. However, despite this feedback, the game assures players of a battle pass focused solely on cosmetic items and robust post-launch support with fresh characters and missions. Players can engage in the game solo or team up in a four-player online co-op mode, supporting full cross-platform and cross-progression functionalities.
