The sixth duelist in VALORANT is rumored to be named ISO and may have Singaporean or Chinese origins.
Riot has provided four visual hints about this male duelist, with the first being a picture of him at a hotpot restaurant, suggesting a connection to Uncle Fong’s Chongqing hotpot chain. Recent teasers also hint at a potential ability related to aim-lock, though concerns about game balance have been considered by the developers.

In the most recent "State of the Agents" article, it's strongly indicated that the next agent joining Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 will be a duelist.
The article notes that it's been nearly two years since the release of the last duelist agent, Neon, on January 11, 2022. Addressing the player base directly, the devs suggest that many players have been requesting a new duelist, and they might just be “dreaming in the right direction.” Accompanying this statement is an art piece depicting some tantalizing-looking food and a hand, possibly belonging to the new agent, popularly called "Valorant Agent 24".

The image's enticing caption from Riot reads, "This next Agent is for you." The Agent is shown in the image utilizing chopsticks during dinner while sporting gloves. The image's intriguing title, "duckblood," may be a reference to a well-known Chinese dish. This means that there is a good chance the new Valorant Duelist is from China, as the game was just released in July in that region.
Riot teased that people who spend hours perfecting their aim with orbs in training sessions are in for a treat when talking about the powers of the new Valorant Agent 24. This mysterious sentence alludes to a pre-nerf Chamber or an Agent similar to Jett who was created to excel in the hands of mechanically talented players.
Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 Agent Balancing
In the same "State of the Agents" article mentioned above, the developers primarily focused on how the agents introduced in Valorant this year have performed so far.
Gekko, the Angeleno Initiator, has been generally well-received, even after the nerfs in Patch 7.04. In contrast, Deadlock hasn't received as warm a welcome, and the developers acknowledge that her current place in the meta is rather weak. They also acknowledge that an agent's potential and contributions can take months to be fully understood, so we might see these agent upgrades in Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 or it might be a while before we see a Deadlock buff.
Deadlock has failed to establish her niche in competitive play, according to the devs. Her absence from the Champions 2023 contests highlighted her perceived lack of strength in comparison to Killjoy or Sage, two steadfast sentinel agents. Riot is strongly researching upgrades for Deadlock's abilities, concentrating on her Sonic Sensor and GravNet skills to increase her versatility.
