However, Riot has recently made a revelation that a new chroma is on the horizon, and it goes by the name Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin.

League of Legends Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin
If you're eyeing the opportunity to include the upcoming Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin chroma in your collection, you might need to prepare yourself for a rather large investment.
This new chroma comes with a Red & Silver color theme, a change from the base skin's Purple & Golden palette. The visual effects have been tweaked to match this fresh color scheme, and the attire has shifted towards a darker shade.

However, a noteworthy aspect is that the mythic chroma for Dark Cosmic Jhin will be the first of its kind to have its own unique splash art. While the Chinese version of League of Legends already features splash art for multiple chromas, this marks Riot's initial venture into introducing chroma-specific splashes for the international version.
The Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin chroma will also come bundled with its own Icon. Players can acquire this Icon by purchasing the chroma itself. Additionally, an Emote will be associated with the chroma, obtainable separately through the purchase of three Dark Cosmic Erasure 2023 capsules.

Leaks have revealed that Cosmic Capsule Milestones run from 2023-08-30 20:00:00 UTC To 2023-09-20 06:59:000 UTC. Opening 30 capsules gives the chroma but each capsule also has a chance to give the chroma.
LoL Cosmic 2023 capsule is slated to coincide with the release of the new Cosmic skins and the event in Patch 13.17. Players will have the chance to uncover random skin shards and extra rewards upon opening this League of Legends Dark Cosmic 2023 Capsule, mirroring the approach of past events.
However, the description also hints that players stand a chance to secure the Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin chroma from the capsule, hinting that this might be the exclusive route to obtaining the skin.

As there's no indication of an accompanying event pass for the Cosmic 2023 event and no Prestige skin within this new set of additions to the skin lineup, these League of Legends Dark Cosmic 2023 event capsules are only attainable through direct purchase.
This potentially places the Dark Cosmic Erasure Jhin chroma among the most expensive skin offerings in the game, despite it being a Mythic-tier variant of a Legendary skin that has already been available for quite a while. Whether this skin acquisition method will transition to the live servers, as it currently exists in the PBE, remains uncertain.
