Guinaifen has emerged as an upcoming 4-star Fire character within the Nihility Path, showcasing her ability to debuff enemies and impose burn damage upon them. Her arrival has taken many by surprise, as Xueyi was anticipated to be the 4-star character in patch 1.4.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen
As mentioned earlier, Guinaifen is a four-star Fire Element character in the Nihility Path, residing in Xianzhou Luofu. While there isn't an abundance of information about her, it's worth noting that Guinaifen is featured in the four-star Light Cone named "Subscribe for More."
The official reveal by HoYoverse stated, “Guinaifen isn't her true name; it's actually Guinevere! She found herself in Xianzhou Luofu by chance, becoming a street performer there. Along the way, she formed a bond with amateur Cloud Knight Sushang, who bestowed upon her a Xianzhou name. A passionate admirer of Xianzhou culture, Guinaifen made a livelihood by mastering unique skills like devouring noodles upside down, breaking stones on her chest, and catching projectiles bare-handed as part of her street performances."
Honkai Star Rail leaker, Mero, has further disclosed that Guinaifen enjoys dedicating her free time to honing her street performer skills.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen's Gameplay
A video shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Star Rail Universe through fellow leaker Dim has unveiled the complete gameplay of Guinaifen within Honkai: Star Rail. The footage encompasses her animations both in and out of combat.
Previously confirmed as a Fire character in the Nihility Path, Guinaifen's Normal Attack is showcased in the video, involving her staff's strikes against foes. Her Skill unleashes a dynamite stick at opponents. The video also captures her Ultimate move, summoning a group of lion companions for a powerful assault. However, the specific effects of Guinaifen's attacks remain undisclosed within the video.
The video further brings to light various idle animations by Guinaifen in Honkai: Star Rail alongside her combat performance. These animations pay tribute to her street performer background, depicting Guinaifen juggling and using a mini gong during her idle moments.

Basic Attack – A Full House of Splits: Inflicts ?% of Guinaifen’s ATK as Fire DMG on a targeted enemy.
Enhanced Basic Attack – A Good Start: Delivers ?% of Guinaifen’s ATK as Fire DMG to a single enemy inflicted with burn, causing both burn on the target and adjacent enemies, equivalent to Guinaifen’s talent scaling.
Skill – A Show For You: Imparts ?% of Guinaifen’s ATK as Fire DMG to all enemies on the battlefield.
Ultimate – In Ancient Times, Gentlemen Raised Artists: Triggered by Guinaifen's Basic Attack, Skill, Ultimate, and Technique, this ushers the target into the [Fire Swallowing] state for 2 turns. A ?% base chance exists for Fire DMG on the target in the [Fire Swallowing] state to cause burn and cleanse the state. Burn-affected foes receive DoT DMG equating to ?% of Guinaifen’s ATK at each turn's outset for ? turns.
Technique – Juggling Tricks: Swiftly strikes enemies, dealing ?% of Guinaifen’s ATK as Fire DMG to random foes and additional ?% DMG afterward.

- Margin Pole: When Guinaifen employs a skill, it inflicts DMG equating to ?% of her Basic Attack DMG on one randomly adjacent target of the selected enemy target.
- Narrow Cast: Guinaifen's Effect Hit Rate heightens by ?%.
- Over the Front: Damage sustained by enemy targets within the Burn state escalates by ?%.

- Level 1 – Eating Noodles Upside Down: Intensifies the damage caused by the Ultimate by ?%.

Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen's Voice Actors
In the English version, Guinaifen's voice is lent by Morgan Lauré, who's notably recognized for contributions in Diablo IV, Street Fighter 6, and RWBY. In the Japanese version, Hina Suguta lends her voice to Guinaifen. Suguta's repertoire features roles like Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling, Toko Kirigaya in the BanG Dream franchise, and Haruka in Afterlost.
Honkai Star Rail Guinaifen Release Date
Given Guinaifen's official drip marketing along with Honkai Star Rail's Jingliu and Honkai Star Rail's Topaz (and Numby), it's inferred that she will be introduced in the HSR 1.4 banner.
