HSR 1.4 Banner and Rerun Characters Confirmed
In the Honkai Star Rail 1.4 banner, Jingliu, a powerful Ice element character, will be introduced in Phase 1. In Phase 2, Topaz, a 5-star Fire character with a unique pet companion, and Guinaifen, a 4-star Fire character with potent damage-over-time abilities, will join.
Additionally, Seele, a highly sought-after character, will make her return in Phase 2 of the HSR 1.4 banner. As revealed by the leaks, the HSR 1.4 first half will have Tingynu, Qingque, and Sampo as featured 4-stars and the second half will feature Guinaifen, Luka, and Sushang.
All this new info was revealed during the HSR 1.4 livestream held on the official Honkai Star Rail YouTube channel.

THREE NEW CHARACTERS FOR HSR 1.4 BANNERS CONFIRMED
Jingliu, a five-star Ice character who follows the Destruction Path, is the first 5-star character of the HSR 1.4 banner. Topaz, the second character, appears alongside her pet trotter Numby. She is a five-star Fire character who follows the Hunt's path. Last but not least, HoYoverse recently revealed Guinaifen, a four-star pyro character who takes the Nihility's path.
The introduction of Guinaifen is a surprise as previous leaks claimed that we will get Xueyi as a featured 4-star on the HSR 1.4 banner. However, fans are excited to explore the abilities of Guinaifen in the game too.

Honkai Star Rail 1.4 Banner Leaks
The information about the three new units in Honkai Star Rail was leaked in a Tweet by @hsr_stuff2 (Inimahsr2). According to the leaker group Team_China, Jingliu, Topaz, and Xueyi will be made available in HSR 1.4 banners.
As per the recent leak, Topaz will probably be released in the first phase in October 2023. Then the second phase will bring Jingliu, with a November 2023 release date most likely. However, the exact release window of Xueyi is currently unclear.
Jingliu, a 5-star Ice Destruction character, possesses the ability to utilize her party members' HP in conjunction with her own to enhance her damage output. On the other hand, Topaz is a 5-star Fire Hunt character who showcases her skills as a summoner by summoning her loyal companion, Zhang Zhang, to assist her in battle.
Xueyi has a Four-star rating. She belongs to the Quantum element and travels the Path of Destruction. Xueyi may be recalled by players from the Xianzhou Luofu events in Honkai Star Rail 1.2, which also starred Dan Heng, Luocha, and Sushang.

Jingliu, a character with a mysterious past, was once Jing Yuan's master and the sword master of Xianzhou Luofu. After succumbing to Mara's influence and descending into madness, she managed to escape Starskiff Haven in the year 7380 (Star Calendar), easily freezing every Cloud Knight sent to apprehend her. According to leaks, Jingliu will be a playable character in Honkai Star Rail, classified as a 5-star Ice Element character specializing in the Destruction Path. Although it remains uncertain which half of the HSR 1.4 banner she will feature in, players will have the opportunity to acquire this unique character.
HSR Jingliu Abilities
- Basic Attack: Feathered Frost: Jingliu unleashes an attack that deals Ice DMG to a single enemy, simultaneously gaining two stacks of 'New Moon.'

- Talent: Transcendence: Upon accumulating four stacks of 'New Moon,' Jingliu enters the 'Transcendence' state, sacrificing her party's HP to increase her ATK. During the 'Transcendence' state, 'New Moon' transforms into 'Moonlight,' granting Jingliu access to a new skill.
- Technique: Lunar Blessing: Jingliu begins each battle with two stacks of 'New Moon.'
HSR Jingliu Eidolons
The leaked information also provides insights into Jingliu's Eidolons. Here are the details:
- E1 – The Moon Violates The Heavenly Gates: When Jingliu uses an ultimate or an enhanced combat skill against a single enemy, the damage originally dealt to adjacent targets will also be inflicted upon the targeted enemy, causing Ice DMG equivalent to a certain percentage of the damage that adjacent targets would have received.
- E2 – Holding a Basilisk Candle: The DMG dealt by Jingliu in the 'Transcendence' state is increased by a certain percentage of the maximum stack of 'Moonlight.'
- E3 – Illuminated Seven Stars: During the 'Transcendence' state, the ATK boost obtained by consuming Jingliu's and her teammates' HP is increased by a certain percentage, with an increased maximum ATK boost.
- E4 – Obscured Into Three: Increases skill level by +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Additionally, increases NA level by +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
- E5 – Half Hope: Increases ultimate level by +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Additionally, increases talent level by +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- E6 – Erosion in Lou: When Jingliu enters the 'Transcendence' state, the number of stacks converted into 'Moonlight' and the maximum number of 'Moonlight' stacks is increased.
HSR Jingliu Light Cone
As with other 5-star characters, Jingliu will possess a unique light cone skill. While the name of her weapon is yet to be revealed, leaks have provided details about her light cone skill.
"Increases the damage dealt by the user's combat skills by a certain percentage. When using the Ultimate, a certain amount of energy is immediately restored, and the user's critical damage is increased by a certain percentage for a specific number of rounds."

Honkai Star Rail Topaz: The Fire Hunt Character
Topaz, another character set to make her debut in Honkai Star Rail 1.4 banner, is a 5-star Fire character associated with The Hunt Path. Although her role in the game's story remains unknown, leaks suggest that she possesses the ability to summon Zhang Zhang, who aids her in battle. As with Jingliu, Topaz's abilities and kit have been revealed through leaks, providing players with a glimpse of what to expect.
HSR Topaz Abilities
- Basic Attack: Deficit…: Topaz inflicts Fire DMG equivalent to a certain percentage of her ATK upon a single enemy target.
- Skill: Difficulty Paying: Topaz casts the 'Attack Mark' on a single enemy target. Follow-up attacks against the enemy marked with an 'Attack Mark' deal a certain percentage of additional damage. Only one enemy can be marked with an 'Attack Mark' at a time. When the currently marked enemy is defeated, Topaz marks a random enemy target on the field. Additionally, Zhang Zhang deals Fire DMG equivalent to a certain percentage of Topaz's ATK to the marked enemy target, functioning as a follow-up attack.
- Ultimate: Turn a Profit!: Zhang Zhang enters the astonishing Increase state, increasing its SPD, Crit Rate, and Damage Multiplier. Zhang Zhang attacks twice while in the 'Astonishing Increase' state.
- Talent: Pig Market?!: At the beginning of the battle, Topaz summons Zhang Zhang. Zhang Zhang starts with a certain SPD value and performs a follow-up attack after Topaz's attack, dealing Fire DMG equivalent to a certain percentage of Topaz's ATK to the enemy target marked with 'Attack Mark.' If no enemy target is marked with an 'Attack Mark' on the field, Topaz marks a random enemy target. Zhang Zhang disappears when Topaz becomes unable to battle.
- Technique: Explicit Subsidy: When Topaz enters battle, she commands Zhang Zhang to join her. Zhang Zhang automatically detects Basic Treasures and Warp Trotters within a certain range. Each stack of 'Vitality Food' increases the wearer's ATK by a certain percentage, which can stack up to a certain number of times."
