Real Madrid vs Chelsea UCL Quarterfinal starting lineup has been revealed.
Real Madrid vs Chelsea UCL Quarterfinal |
Real Madrid and Chelsea are squaring off in the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds for the third consecutive year.
In the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal match, reigning champions Real Madrid host Chelsea. The match will be broadcast on BT Sport, CBS, and Paramount+ at 8pm BST, 3pm ET, and 12pm PT.
Prior to Real's comeback in the quarterfinals of last season, Chelsea struck first at the semi-final stage in 2020–21. The team that advanced won the UCL championship both times.
The defending champions, Real Madrid have won three straight matches and have only lost one of their last 10 games in the UEFA Champions League. Contrarily, in seven games played in Europe versus Real Madrid, Chelsea has only suffered one defeat.
The following is the starting line up for both Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Real Madrid Starting line-ups
- Thibaut Courtois
- Dani Carvajal
- Eder Militao
- David Alaba
- Eduardo Camavinga
- Toni Kroos
- Fede Valverde
- Luka Modric
- Rodrygo,
- Benzema (capt)
- Vinicius Junior
Chelsea Starting line-ups
- Kepa Arrizabalaga
- Wesley Fofana
- Thiago Silva (capt)
- Kalidou Koulibaly
- Reece James
- N'Golo Kante
- Mateo Kovacic
- Enzo Fernandez
- Ben Chilwell
- Raheem Sterling
- Joao Felix
The two teams appear to be going in different directions as Madrid has acquired a lot of momentum following its 0-4 victory at Camp Nou while Chelsea has had a difficult season.
But Real Madrid shouldn't underestimate this Chelsea squad. They have talented players, and Joao Felix will provide a threat playing on the left flank where he is most comfortable. Their midfield is highly physical, so if Kroos and Modric don't perform well tonight, Madrid could struggle.
