There have been a lot of characters who have already gotten their Story Quest. And now Baizhu is one of the new characters who is going to embark on his first Story Quest.
Although HoYoverse took its time adding Baizhu as a playable, he is now available to the players. As was expected, he will be a Dendro user with a catalyst.
It was announced during the 3.6 livestream that players will receive two new Genshin 3.6 story quests, notably the Genshin Impact Baizhu story quest and the Nahida story quest. The Lagenaria Chapter: Act I - Baizhu story quest is slated for the second half, however, the Nahida story quest is already available.
However, the list of quests in the Baizhu Story Quest has been updated below, along with instructions on how to complete each one.

Baizhu story quest - "Lagenaria Chapter" officially announced
On April 27th miHoYo officially announced the arrival of Baizhu "Lagenaria Chapter" Story Quest on 2023/05/02 at 18:00:00 which will be Permanently available after version 3.6.
According to a recent announcement, Travellers who achieve the necessary Adventure Rank and complete the essential tasks will be able to use a Story Key to unlock Baizhu's Story Quest "Lagenaria Chapter." These prerequisites include:
- Adventure Rank 40 or above
- Complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III "A New Star Approaches"
- Complete Hu Tao's Story Quest - Papilio Charontis Chapter: Act I "Yet the Butterfly Flutters Away"
- And complete Xiao's Story Quest - Alatus Chapter: Act I "Butterfly's Dream"

Genshin Impact Baizhu story quest
On May 2, along with phase 2 of the 3.6 update, Act I of the Genshin Impact Baizhu story quest—also known as the "Lagenaria Chapter"—will be made available in the main game.
Since many players are unfamiliar with the Sumeru region, it is anticipated that Act I of the "Lagenaria Chapter" would focus heavily on Sumeru's past. It's unknown if there will be other criteria to start his quest other than obtaining 1x Story Key and earning Adventure Rank 40.
It's possible that Baizhu's story quest will require you to complete a specific portion of the main story, similar to how Nahida's quest does.

- Go to Bubu Pharmacy
- Ask the Millelith guards outside Liyue Harbor
- Search the area near Luhua Pool
- Approach Ayu's father
- Return to Bubu Pharmacy
- Exit Bubu Pharmacy
- Ask around for information
- Wait till the next morning (08:00 – 10:00)

Genshin Baizhu story quest eligibility
Baizhu Story Quest Unlock Criteria include:
- Adventure Rank 40 or above
- Travelers who reach the required Adventure Rank and complete the prerequisite quests will be able to use a Story Key to unlock Baizhu's Story Quest "Lagenaria Chapter."
- The Story Quest feature is unlocked at Adventure Rank 26. "Story Keys" are obtained by completing Daily Commissions (one Story Key is awarded for every eight commissions completed.)
Genshin 3.6 Baizhu story quest rewards
After the completion of Genshin 3.6 Baizhu story quests, players will be awarded the following rewards:
- Adventure EXP - x1725
- Mora - x97050
- Hero's Wit - x11
- Mystic Enhancement Ore - x21
- Primogem - x60
- Guide to Gold - x5
This Baizhu story quest will be available in version 3.6, as previously stated, and then will be available permanently in the game. That's all there is to the Genshin 3.6 Baizhu Act I story quest.
