Version 3.6 of Genshin Impact is now available. The second half of the upgrade is scheduled to be released in early May. In this second half, one of Genshin's most anticipated characters, Baizhu, will receive a banner with the rerun of the Ganyu banner.
Baizhu is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy and a 5-star Dendro catalyst user from Liyue.
Baizhu fans have already seen all of his animations, including his Burst, standard attack, idle, and so on, courtesy to leakers and data miners. However, many fans thought the animations were mediocre and left much to be desired.
Despite this, the anticipation for the Genshin Baizhu banner and the 4-star characters featured on it is enormous. And, just recently, HoYoverse revealed the official banner rate-up characters for the second wave of 3.6, which are detailed below.

Genshin Baizhu Banner
Via the Genshin Impact 3.6 Livestream, miHoYo confirmed the characters coming in 3.6 banners. Similar to what the leakers revealed, Genshin Impact 3.6 banners are:
- Genshin Impact Nahida rerun
- Genshin Impact Nilou rerun
- Genshin Impact Baizhu banner
- Genshin Impact 3.6 Ganyu rerun

It was announced that Phase 1 of the 3.6 version will have Nahida and Nilou, whereas Ganyu and Baizhu banners will come in Phase 2 of the update. Well if you are eagerly waiting to get your hands on the Baizhu banner, you don’t have to wait for long as Phase 2 will begin on May 2nd.
As announced officially, the 3.6 Baizhu banner will show up on the 2nd of May 2023 and will be replaced by a new Genshin 3.7 banner on May 23rd at 17:59 PM (UTC +8).

There's a certain gap between the Genshin Impact America server and Eastern Time. Hence the different timezones for the Genshin Baizhu banner release are:
- 4 p.m. PT - Pacific Time.
- 1 p.m. ET - Europe server.
- 6 a.m. ET - Asia server.
Clearly, those playing on Asia serves will get their hands on Baizhu early.
Genshin Impact Baizhu banner 4-star characters
Since we are only getting two banners in Phase 2, there is no doubt that we will get interesting characters featured on the Genshin Baizhu banner and both the Phase 2 banners will have the same 4-star characters.

As expected, we have some interesting 4-star characters this time as well on the 3.6 banners with Baizhu as the five-star character. As mentioned in the official post, "During this event wish, the event-exclusive 5-star character "Beyond Mortality" Baizhu (Dendro) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!"
"During this event wish, the 4-star characters "Empyrean Reflection" Kaveh (Dendro), "Golden Vow" Candace (Hydro), and "Prinzessin der Verurteilung!" Fischl (Electro) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!"

Of the above characters, the event-exclusive character will not be available in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation." This is for "Character Event Wish." The wish guarantee count for "Character Event Wish" and "Character Event Wish-2" is shared, and, is accumulated between both "Character Event Wish" and "Character Event Wish-2." This wish guarantee count is independent of the guarantee counts of other types of wishes.
The "Test Run" trial event will be open during this event wish. Travelers may use fixed lineups containing the selected trial characters to enter specific stages and test them out. Travelers that complete the challenges will receive the corresponding rewards!

With regards to Kaveh's release, the blog post stated, "After this event wish ends, the 4-star character "Empyrean Reflection" Kaveh (Dendro) will be available in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation" in the next Version."

Genshin Impact 3.6 Baizhu weapon banner
On May 2nd, the 3.6 Weapon Banner will face a rotation where Baizhu and Baizhu's signature 5-star weapon will get released during this event wish. Moreover, five other 4-star weapons will also gain a huge drop-rate boost.
Clearly, the second half of the 3.6 patch will have weapons best suited for Baizhu, including Baizhu’s Jadefall's Splendor.
