The well-known battle royale game Fortnite is including a Coachella Island map so music fans can participate at home in honor of the return of the legendary Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this weekend.
Coachella already had a presence in the game the previous year when skins and features with music from the festival's performers were released.
Coachella Island is offering a complete experience, featuring tracks from Porter Robinson, a DJ playing at the festival this year in person, and a number of team vs. team mini-games, building significantly on the Fortnite x Coachella crossover this year.
The long-awaited Fortnite and Coachella Music Festival collaboration 2023 is all set to take place soon. And much to the astonishment of keen fans, a data miner has already revealed the Fortnite x Coachella quests and rewards.
So, let's get to know what has been revealed about the Fortnite Coachella skins, release date, price, and more.

Fortnite x Coachella skins release date
There were several speculations on the possible Fortnite x Coachella crossover release date, however, now Epic Games has formally announced the date.
April 14th, 2023 the Fortnite x Coachella skins and cosmetics will be released. The cosmetics and Coachella Fortnite skin will be available in the Fortnite item shop at:
- 6 PM PST
- 9 PM EST
- 2 AM BST (April 15)
And just like other crossover skins, the Coachella Fortnite skin will be accessible to buy from the Fortnite Item Shop.

Fortnite Coachella Quests
The Fortnite Coachella event will feature two sets of Coachella-themed quests, the first of which will go live at the same time as Coachella Island and the second of which will do so on April 21 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET.
Players may take part in the Fortnite x Coachella 2023 missions, which are split into Week 1 and Week 2, to gain a tonne of free XP and Coachella-themed items.

Complete Fortnite x Coachella Tasks for In-Game Rewards!

The initial quests will be available in-game starting on April 14 at 3 PM ET and running through April 28, 2023, at 12 PM ET. The second set of quests will be available in-game starting on April 21 at 12 PM ET and running through April 28, 2023, at 12 PM ET.
Players may easily earn 90,000 XP during the event because each quest will grant 15,000 XP towards the Fortnite Battle Pass. The following are the tasks included in Fortnite Coachella Quests:
Week 1:
- Soar in the Sky Stream at Coachella Island (3,600) – 15,000 XP
- Hop on Jump Pads at Coachella Island (1) – 15,000 XP
- Collect coins around Coachella Island (5) – 15,000 XP
- Collect hidden music notes in the Mirage Speedrun at Coachella Island (4) – 15,000 XP
Week 2:
- Launch fireworks at Coachella Island (3) – 15,000 XP
- Use a spray at Coachella Island (1) – 15,000 XP
Tiger Root Bonus Goals:
- Hi-Fi Cacti Spray - Complete Week 1 Coachella Island Quest
- Cact-Eye Emoticon - Complete Week 1 Coachella Island Quest
- Look At The Sky Lobby Track - Complete Week 1 Coachella Island Quest
- Coachella Sunset Spray - Complete Week 2 Coachella Island Quest
- Coachella Island Loading Screen - Ride a vehicle in Battle Royale or Zero Build for 1,000 units for a distance

Fortnite Coachella Bundle
Epic Games has balanced the cosmetics with the Coachella Bundle alongside the two Coachella Fortnite skins: Sunset Alto and Desert Dawn Lyric skins.
The items included in Fortnite Coachella Bundle are:
- Desert Dawn Lyric skin
- Airflow Vibes back bling
- Sunset Alto skin
- Sunset Swirl back bling
- Electropalm Staff harvesting tool
- Coachella Island loading screen
- Crystalline Cactus harvesting tool
- Desert Breeze wrap
The official Twitter account of Fortnite posted a new video, and Coachella Island will debut and offer "creator-made music and art experiences" for visitors to enjoy. Expect desert mountains, palm trees, and day-to-night cycles because Coachella served as inspiration.
There will also be two brand-new emotes based on tracks by Bad Bunny and Burna Boy, who both perform at Coachella, in keeping with the festival's musical vibe. Finally, a variety of performers from this year's program will be featured on the in-game Icon Radio channel.

With the map code 5449-4207-12803 or by going to the 'Epic's Picks' row in the game's Discover menu, you can get to the new Coachella Island. In addition, the Fortnite Coachella island will have cooperative minigames, a unique Art Park area, and Porter Robinson-performed music on the soundtrack.
