There is nothing quite like a Major for lovers of CS:GO esports. The most recent one to take place this year is the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, which will pit the top teams in the world against one another for a big prize fund.

CSGO BLAST Paris Major 2023 Schedule
There are LAN events at every CS:GO Major. On May 8, 2023, the BLAST Paris Major 2023 gets underway. The three-stage model that Valve adopted in 2018 will be used for the event, which will run from May 8 to May 21. The tournament will continue until May 21st, 2023, at which point a winner will be announced.
The Champions Stage will be held at the Accor Arena, an indoor sporting venue and performance venue situated in the Bercy district of Paris. See the list below for information on the various stages of BLAST Paris Major 2023 and their associated dates.
- Challengers Stage: 8th to 11th May 2023
- Legends Stage - 13th to 16th May 2023
- Champions Stage - 18th to 21st May 2023
There will be 24 teams competing for their portion of the $1,250,000 prize pool.
Well, the locations of the Challengers and Legends stages, the first two stages of the Major, are still unknown. But when information regarding the precise start times for the BLAST Paris Major 2023 matches becomes available, we will update this article.
BLAST Paris Major 2023 Format
Tournament planners must adhere to a specified CS:GO Major tournament structure set by Valve. Check out the CS:GO Major tournament format, including the Challengers Stage and other competitive phases, below.
Challenger Stage:
- 16 Team Swiss System Format and all other matches are Bo1.
- The top 8 Teams proceed to The Legends Stage.
- The bottom 8 Teams are eliminated.
- Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3.
The Challengers Stage, which will feature 16 teams and a Swiss system, will kick off the BLAST Paris Major 2023. Before the elimination and advancement matches, which are best-of-three affairs, the early rounds will be played in a best-of-one style.
Legends Stage:
- 16 Team Swiss System Format and all other matches are Bo1.
- 8 Teams from Challengers and seeded teams from the Regional Major Qualifiers
- The top 8 Teams proceed to the Champions Stage.
- The bottom 8 Teams are eliminated.
- Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3.
Eight of the top teams advance to the Legends Stage, where they will compete against the top-seeded teams from the Regional Major Qualifiers. The format for this stage will be the same as for the Challengers Stage.
Champions Stage:
In a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches in each game, only eight teams will advance to the Champions Stage.
BLAST Paris Major 2023 Teams
The BLAST Paris Major 2023 will include competition amongst the top 24 CS:GO esports teams in the world. Based on RMR rankings and regional qualifiers, these teams are chosen.
Between April 6 and 15, these qualifying competitions will take place in Copenhagen (Europe), Monterrey (Americas), and Ulaanbaatar (Asia-Pacific).
