Officially under development, Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon might appear sooner than anticipated. The big announcement was made at The Game Awards last year, along with a stunning new teaser.
When Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was announced at The Game Awards in December 2022, which also named FromSoftware's Elden Ring as Game of the Year, fans of the series rejoiced. Armored Core 6's debut trailer only provided a hazy release date of 2023, but as the year nears its midpoint, interest has grown.
The renowned Japanese developer is now engaged in two projects: the upcoming Armored Core game and Shadow of the Erdtree, an Elden Ring premium expansion. Although both are scheduled for release later this year, it is thought that the former will arrive first.
Fans are starting to worry a little bit about a probable delay due to the lack of information, other than an official rating in South Korea. However, fortunately, an Insider Gaming article provides fantastic news and the precise Armored Core 6 release date.

Armored Core 6 release date leak
August 25, 2023, will be the Armored Core 6 release date, according to Insider Gaming's sources. This comes after it was discovered that Armored Core 6's Xbox install version is 2.1.0.1; given that this number exceeds the 1.0 that is often regarded as a game's first playable version, this seems to indicate that the game is very near to release.
Also, Armored Core VI's cover image and age rating were just revealed last week in Korea. Age ratings typically indicate some sort of impending announcement. Fans were relieved by the rating leaks because they thought the game would have been postponed until late 2023. Age ratings, however, do not predict whether or not a game will be postponed.
If Armored Core 6 is actually set to release in August, and according to the rumor, that launch will take place on August 25, then the game's promotion is undoubtedly about to get underway. We wouldn't be at all surprised to see Geoff Keighley announce this one given at the Summer Game Fest that will take place in June.

Even though it hasn't been officially confirmed, the schedule fits FromSoftware's plans to release both Armored Core 6 and Shadow of the Erdtree later this year.
The Armored Core 6 release on August 25 would contradict an earlier report that put the date around the end of September. Having said that, there hasn't been a formal declaration in this regard, so you should treat all rumors with a grain of salt.
