Players have already started anticipating Apex Legends Season 17, which will feature a battle pass, a new Season 17 map, and, of course, the next Apex Legends Season 17 legend.
Nine unannounced Apex Legends legends who were supposed to join us in the next seasons were majorly leaked to us. Now, Shrugtal, a reliable dataminer claims the upcoming Apex Legends Season 17 legend that was revealed in the unreleased legends leak, maybe Ballistic.
Players have expressed interest in Ballistic, a new character that was revealed during Season 12 of Apex Legends. And data miners hint about the upcoming Apex Season 17 legend Ballistic raised our suspicions, which led to speculation.
According to a recent leak and speculation on the new character, Kuben Blisk, the series' major antagonist who also made an appearance in Apex Legends before, maybe his father. Additionally, a leak of the Ballistic Legend's artwork for Season 17 of Apex Legends has been discovered online.

Apex Season 17 Legend - Ballistic leaks
Apex Legends Ballistic will be a recon character like Pathfinder, Bloodhound, Crypto, Seer, and Valkyrie since he can support his partner from a distance.
According to the information given by content creator PWN hub and obtained through leaker NightTerras, Ballistic abilities are concentrated on employing weapons and the usability of weapons. They also disclosed that Ballistic, the new Apex Season 17 Legend, may have previously been known as Caliber.

Now as per the recent leaks, many audio recordings from Mirage, Gibraltar, and other games are pointing out the presence of this new character, according to the most recent video from YouTube content producer Bobz, who meticulously examined a recent leak.
The term Ballistic is spoken in a dialogue between the characters in the audio, which is visible in the video.
For instance, Gibraltar claims that the name brings back memories from his time at Thunderdrome and that he recognizes the name, which raises the possibility that there is a connection between the characters.
The new legend may be connected to Kuben Blisk, a Titanfall figure who previously made an appearance in Apex Legends as a Syndicate mercenary and who is currently known as Ballistic. Some of the audio seems to suggest that this son might be continuing his father's legacy because he participated in the Thunderdrome.
Also, when discussing the next legend in Apex Legends, Mirage mentions how difficult it might be for the character to be "competing with his dad's history" in one of the audios that have been released.

Apex Legends Ballistic Appearance
The most recent photos to surface on Reddit display a variety of styles for the upcoming Ballistic Legend. The character has been mentioned in leaks going back to Season 13, but we haven't had a chance to see his look until recently.
It appears to be an older man with grey hair, wearing shades and a long jacket with a shirt, waistcoat, and tie. Whilst it's important to keep in mind that leaked facts can all alter before the character is fully released, it's thought that he is an arms dealer with tight ties to the Apex Games.

Also, well-known data miner HYPERMYST shared a picture of a banner with a new legend on it back in December 2022. The image was rather fuzzy at the moment. In the Apex Legends Reddit, however, new details about a new Legend named Ballistic as well as a new leak have since appeared.
At first glance, Ballistic seems similar to Kuben Blisk. Although Blisk has been shown in some of Respawn's lore movies, he is not the same as our new Legend, hence it is improbable that Ballistic is Blisk. Although his current representation is an elderly man with tinted glasses, this could alter in the future.
Also, a leak from the ApexUncovered Reddit revealed all of Ballistic's gameplay abilities.

Apex Legends Ballistic abilities
Four seasons have passed since an Assault character debuted in Apex Legends. Therefore, it appeared very clear that the Season 17 character would be a Legend of the Assault class. And it may have been confirmed by the most recent dumps from data miners and leakers.

Ballistic's three unique abilities, which we learned about thanks to the leakers, are unheard-of. The information that was released along with the photograph reveals the following Ballistic abilities:
- Ballistic's Passive - Weapon Sling
A sling where you can store a third weapon. Access via inventory. The sling weapon cannot take attachments.
- Ballistic's Tactical - Smart Bullet
Shoots a projectile that debuffs the enemy. Enemies' guns will start heating up as they shoot. Overheating will cause a reaction and deal damage. Holding the Tactical will allow it to lock on to a target.
- Ballistic's Ultimate - Weapon Enhance
When activated nearby teammates get a buff applied. It gives faster reloads, unarmed move speed, and Infinite Ammo. Ballistic’s sling weapon will be equipped and upgraded to gold.

It's worth mentioning that the Ballistic abilities may have changed since it was shot, and some of them may have been scrapped altogether, so take the leak with a grain of salt.
However, you can't be so sure about anything as Respawn Entertainment is yet to formally announce and reveal the Legend. Yet it is possible that Apex Legends Season 17 legend could be Ballistic, and if the leaked abilities are anything like his official kit, he has the potential to completely change the meta.
Apex Legends Season 17 Ballistic release date
The overall timeline for Apex Legends Season 17 as of this writing puts the release day around May 14. It should be noted that Respawn Entertainment hasn't officially announced a release date for Season 17, so we should treat this information with caution.
As each season of Apex Legends typically lasts three months, this date is speculative. As Season 16 started on February 14th, we can estimate that Season 17 will launch on May 14th, though it may arrive earlier or later depending on the quantity of new material, such as a new Legend or gaming modes.
