While community days typically take place on weekends and feature special Special Research tasks, boosted spawn rates, rare move unlocks, and rewards like 2x Catch Candy and 2x XL Candy, the great majority of players would definitely get to take part in them.

Niantic has confirmed that the upcoming Pokemon Go Community Day event will start on April 15th, 2023, on a Saturday. The April 2023 Community Day schedule will run from 2 PM to 5 PM local time this time.

Trainers that are fortunate enough to attend the April Community Day 2023 may see both a Shiny Togetic and Togetic, a Fairy/Flying-type Pokemon.

Pokemon Togetic Community Day 2023 - Shiny Togetic Catch Rate

Shiny Pokemon, like the Shiny Togetic, are the rarest types in the game, and many trainers have acknowledged Community Days for their positive experiences. In preparation for the upcoming Pokemon April Community Day 2023 event, the catch rates for Headliner Pokemon have been increased.

This suggests that rates for Shiny variations, such as Shiny Togetic, appear to have increased as well. Trainers could be able to obtain a Shiny Togetic as part of the event this time.

Pokemon Go April Community Day 2023 Rewards

The following are the rewards that are certain to be given out on Pokemon Go Togetic Community Day, as stated by Niantic in the associated blog post:

2x candies for Pokémon-catching.
When eggs are put in incubators during the event, there is a 1/4 hatch distance.
Trainers with a level of 31 and higher have a 2x chance of catching Candy XL.
During the event, lure modules will be active for three hours.
The duration of any incense used during the event, excluding Daily Adventure Incense, is three hours.
During Community Day, snap a few pictures for a fun surprise!
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Togepi has a chance of hatching from 2 km Eggs obtained during the April Community Day hours (Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time). Togepi that hatch from these Eggs will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as Togetic that appear during April Community Day’s three-hour event period.

Slowbro and Slowking Charged Attack - Aura Sphere

If the trainers come across the Togetic evolution Togekiss, the mon' will have access to the Charged Attack Aura Sphere, which Niantic stated in a blog post on March 19, 2023, will remain available long after the event.

In the case that trainers don't complete the Togetic evolution during the Pokemon Go Community Day on April 15, 2023, they will still have a second chance to unlock the Togekiss-only move. Users will be given an additional two hours following the event's conclusion to do so.

Aura Sphere, which is only available to Togekiss, enables the Pokemon to get on the defense against opponents who have 90 power in gyms and raids and 100 power in Trainer Battles.

This time Niantic also announced Bonus Raid Battles for the Community day players.

Pokemon Community Day April 2023 - Bonus Raid Battles

Immediately following the three-hour Community Day event, trainers will have the option of participating in four-star Raid Battles. On April 15, 2023, between 5 PM and 10 PM local time, Pokemon Go April Community Day Bonus Raid Battles will start.

If one of these raids is successful, more Togetic will begin to arrive in the area of the gym where the raid took place for 30 minutes.

Togetic is present in four-star raids, which can only be accessed using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes do not grant access to these raids.

After defeating Togetic in a four-star raid battle, Togetic will start to appear for 30 minutes within a 300-meter radius of the gym that hosted the raid. If you're fortunate, you might run into a Shiny Togetic!

Pokemon Community Day April 2023 - Spreading Cheer

Another Community Day Special Research Story, titled Spreading Cheer in Pokemon Go, will be available to players. For US$1, trainers can purchase the Spreading Cheer, Togetic Community Day-only Special Research story.

Players can obtain more event-themed stickers during the Pokemon April 2023 event by spinning PokéStops, unwrapping Presents, and buying them from the in-game store.

Timed Research

Timed Research focused on Togetic will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Complete tasks related to catching these Pokémon to earn up to 5 Sinnoh Stones.
