Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover leak |
One of the game's main selling points is its extensive history of crossovers. Through several agreements, Epic Games has built up a sizable library of licensed characters that players can inhabit while competing for a Battle Royale. From Star Wars to Naruto, Fortnite has grown to be a hugely profitable platform that not only allows Epic to make money but also allows numerous businesses and artists to advertise.
However, with any collaboration, getting leaks on them is a sure event. And new leaks have revealed a new Fortnite collaboration that is set to happen in the near future.
Many fans wonder what Epic Games will add to Fortnite next after the recent addition of Creed skin through its many crossovers, and new leaks have hinted at a potential Resident Evil crossover.
The anticipation for a purported collaboration between Fortnite and Resident Evil is increasingly growing as leaks have also indicated the new Fortnite Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield skins will be released in the game.
So, let's get to know what has been revealed about the Fortnite Resident Evil skins, release date, price, and more.

Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover
Beginning with Chapter 1: Season 4, Fortnite has had a tonne of crossovers over the years. Epic Games came up with the brilliant idea to work with Marvel in the fourth season of Fortnite to advertise the debut of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War after the game experienced a stratospheric spike in popularity between 2017 and 2018.
Not only did it increase their financial balance, but it also drew in a lot of new players who loved the notion of dressing like their preferred gaming character. As a result, several gaming characters like Naruto, Rick and Monty, and real-life celebrities like Loki, Ariana Grande, and more have all made appearances in Epic Games' battle royale, Fortnite.
However, the new leak is about a Fortnite crossover with the critically successful Resident Evil game.
@ShiinaBR and @HYPEX, well-known and reliable Fortnite leakers have suggested that a new Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover is in the pipeline. While Epic Games hasn't provided any concrete evidence to support these allegations, it's still worthwhile to look into.

Fortnite x Resident Evil - Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield skins
It seems like fans will get to see a few Fortnite Resident Evil skins as leakers have revealed that skins for a variety of characters, including Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, will be available in the battle pass. Leakers even believe the crossover will happen as soon as next week, but again, unless Epic Games confirms otherwise, this is just speculation.
When discussing the crossover, Shiina said, "[FORTNITE X RESIDENT EVIL] Leon Kennedy & Claire Redfield will be coming to the Item Shop in Chapter 4 - Season 2, according to information sent to @HYPEX & me!"
Adding to this, HYPEX also gave affirmation to the same leak.
Since a bag or pickaxe comes with practically every new skin, we can only conjecture what might be in work for Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in the Fortnite x Resident Evil cosmetics. Although information about Fortnite Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield's pickaxe and back bling is still a mystery, data miners are anticipated to start revealing it in the following days.

Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover release date
While the dataminers of Fortnite always attempt to dig up some new information, sadly, we don't have any concrete info on the possible Fortnite Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield skin release date.
However, there are reports that suggest that March 8th, 2023 will be the probable Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover release window, which is when SEASON 2 BATTLE PASS releases.
Another idea contends that Epic Games will want to have the Fortnite x Resident Evil outfit available in the Item Shop before Resident Evil 4 Remake debuts on March 24, 2023. Hence, the collaboration will most likely take place around the third week of this month.
This date is susceptible to change because Epic may still experience difficulties in the production process.

Fortnite x Resident Evil skin price
Similar to the release date, the devs have not announced any details on Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover cosmetics price, yet we should also expect the skins' prices to be consistent with those of Epic's other products, so there should be no surprises for seasoned gamers.
However, they have yet to be confirmed and even leakers are unaware of this part.
For those that don't have a clue, Resident Evil 4 is one of the most praised sections in the Resident Evil series and in addition to the fact that it was a booster for an aging franchise, it likewise became a game-changer for the third-person shooter.
The reports can only be verified by Epic Games' statement, though. So, it is suggested to wait for the official announcement on the Fortnite x Resident Evil crossover and the addition of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield Fortnite skin. So don’t get your hopes up too high.
