Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry battle pass will be released soon, and we already have details on the remastered legend classes, new game modes, and much more.
Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry patch notes |
Apex Legends, the free-to-play battle royal-hero shooter gamer, developed by Respawn Entertainment, and published by Electronic Arts, has been one of the most popular and entertaining titles ever since its launch in early 2019.
Apex Legends has been a prolific game till now, in that in just 4 years, it has launched 15 successful seasons till now. And it has been the practice of the developers to reveal something about their plans for the future season at the end of each season. Since we are at the end of the 15th season of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment has revealed that the next season will be named “Revelry".
In Season 16, we will get to experience a remastered Legend Class system, Nemesis AR, the introduction of TDM and Mixtape, a new Battle Pass, a New Ranked Season, and a lot of other stuff. Respawn has gotten into the habit of calling each season not by its numerical value, but by a word that defines its central theme ever since season 9. Seasons 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 were given the names "Legacy", "Emergence", "Escape", "Defiance", "Saviors", "Hunted", and "Eclipse" respectively.
We can derive some information about the season from its title. As this season will be called “Revelry,” it will have to do something with fun, liveliness, dancing, and more.

Apex Legends Season 16 Revelry
An official trailer was put out recently on YouTube, which revealed features of the upcoming season 16 of Apex Legends. We saw a new Team Deathmatch game and remastered Legend classes in the 2.21-minute clip, which offers everyone a part to play. Along with the heavy weapons, the new Nemesis rifle was formally unveiled.
Apex Legends Season 16 deviates from the norm by not introducing a new Legend. The decision was made, according to Respawn's developers, in order to shift away from the "expected" upgrades and instead concentrate on enhancing the skills of the legends they already have on the roster.
The Firing Range makeover is another feature that tries to enhance the arena by introducing endless ammo, dynamic stats, and improved dummy targets.
The potent Nemesis AR weapon, which will compete with the Flatline and R-301, will be coming to the Outlands despite the absence of any new faces. Additionally, a brand-new 6v6 Team Deathmatch game mode is being added, which requires teams to accumulate 30 kills in order to win a round.

Apex Legends Season 16 - Remastered Legend Class System
It's unusual for Respawn's battle royale, Apex Legends Season 16 won't introduce a new Legend, according to the latest report. Season 16 will instead introduce significant modifications to the classification of Legends as well as a new perk system that is related to a Legend's category.
The official blog post, "Our Legends are divided into 5 classes using the legend class system." Each class exemplifies a fundamental playstyle that promotes a common style of involvement on the battlefield. Additionally, we intended to give each Class a unique gaming strategy. Every single one of the past, present, and future Legends now plays a vital role in their squad.
There’ll be 5 new legend classes in Apex Legends Season 16:
- Assault
- Skirmisher
- Recon
- Controller
- Support
Legends have been rearranged on the Legends Screen in Apex Legends Revelry according to their Class. Over and above Legend's special skills, you'll be able to observe their related Class perk.
This rearrangement will make it easier for players to understand the new roles and find Legends who support or play in a similar way to the team. Along with this improvement, the Legend Select screen has also been improved. Every Legend Class now has a gameplay benefit that gives members of that class access to additional game options for strategy.

Apex Legends Season 16 - ClassPerks
We also have Class Perks in Apex Legends Season 16. These additional gaming advantages will be enjoyable new perks to interact with and facilitate decision-making at casual levels of play. At more advanced levels of play, the composition of the squad now affects which gameplay aspects the team can access and which they must forgo.
Each class has its unique perk, which further characterizes how Legends play in each class. The benefits that the category's perk offers will be given to every character in that class. The following are Apex Legends Season 16 Class Perks:
Assault: In the new weapon supply bins, legends can uncover a hidden shelf. A smart loot system will drop priceless upgrades and weaponry. Additionally, Assault Legends can add an extra round of ammunition to each inventory space.
Skirmisher: Legends have the ability to detect forthcoming Care Packages from a distance and can identify their greatest value item. They can also monitor the weapon that has been revealed and determine whether an opponent team has used it.
Recon: Legends can scan modified Survey Beacons for 30 seconds to reveal enemy locations on the map, but they no longer have access to ring data. Enemies in the area will be made aware of where the Beacon is currently being scanned.
Controller: Ring Console(s) are new equipment that Legends can use, and they can be found all across the map. These tools show where the subsequent ring will be (transferring this ability from Recon Legends to Legends who are designed to rotate early and set up in the new zone).
Support: Legends can now access a hidden shelf in Extended Supply Bins (the blue bins) that contains high-value healing and survival items. Support Legends can also craft banners of deceased teammates at crafting stations for 30 materials, including expired materials.

Apex Legends Season 16 - Mixtape
Apex Legends TDM will take the place of Arenas in Season 16. This information was first leaked during Season 15. Respawn, on the other hand, is not simply swapping Arenas with TDM. Instead, they're launching a brand-new playlist called Mixtape.
The Mixtape playlist will rotate through a curated list of modes and maps to play every 15 minutes, similar to how maps rotate in Battle Royale, and players will be able to experience a variety of game modes throughout the season. For the first three weeks of the season, only TDM will be available, followed by Mixtape, which will include TDM, Control, and Gun Run in its rotation.
Season 15 Roadmap pic.twitter.com/CEsNCIAgPu
— KralRindo (@kralrindo) February 8, 2023
Fortunately, the Mixtape playlist isn't restricted to just these three game modes; Respawn has said that it will develop and adapt over time. This implies that new modes and LTMs, as well as older LTMs not mentioned above, will ultimately show up in Mixtape.
In addition, after being taken out of its own specific time slot in the game's menus, the new Team Deathmatch mode for Apex Legends will be added to the Mixtape playlist.
Apex Legends Season 16 - Team Deathmatch
One of the most eagerly anticipated Apex Legends features is TDM. To cater to gamers that prefer to jump in quickly and engage in Team Deathmatch in a more relaxed manner, developers are adding a fast respawn option to Apex.
Apex Legends TDM wants to give you the opportunity to experience fast-paced Apex fighting in a low-pressure setting. The goal of the developers is to emphasize the gunplay and battles in Apex while easing the stress associated with leading a single life.
Here is a brief explanation of how the Deathmatch mode operates:
- 6v6 Alliances
- Pick your loadout on spawn
- You can swap your loadout or legend while respawning
- Shields regen automatically (We’ll be looking to update this very soon!)
- 30 kills to win a round
- First alliance to win 2 rounds wins the match
- Swap loadouts in between rounds
- Collect airdrops mid-round for stronger weapons
Apex players ought to be able to enjoy themselves while playing TDM alone. As a result, Apex Legends TDM structure appears a little more rule-based. There will soon be enhancements in other areas for players searching for a more structured environment to hone their talents.

Apex Legends Season 16 - Nemesis AR
The official post stated, "Meet the Nemesis, a new energy class assault rifle that fires four rounds per burst. With a ramping burst delay that decreases the time between bursts and simulates a fully automatic weapon, the Nemesis is guaranteed to ruin the day of at least one Legend next match."
The Nemesis burst-fire assault rifle will be added to Apex Legends Season 16 for the first time since the CAR SMG in Season 11.
Since the weapon is an AR, players can anticipate that it will operate in a range, damage, and handling range between SMGs and LMGs.
New weapon: Nemesis pic.twitter.com/kUms0JhOWm
— KralRindo (@kralrindo) February 6, 2023
It will be an assault weapon that fires four bullets quickly in bursts.
The Nemesis will be an automatic burst weapon, in contrast to other burst weapons like the Hemlok that require players to continuously push their fire button for the next burst. The longer players hold down their fire button, the shorter the delay between bursts will be thanks to the incremental fire rate.
Apex Legends Season 16 - Orientation Match system
The issue with novice players trying out Apex is that they lose to more skilled or seasoned gamers. They are hampered by this, thus Respawn Entertainment introduces a remedy in Season 16.
The devs declared: "The Outlands are you new? Try out the new Orientation Match system, designed to provide new players with a simple orientation where they can learn the fundamentals of Apex Legends. Play by yourself or with a group of friends to kill some bots before entering the standard matchmaking line. Come in and begin to become legendary; every Legend started out at level 1!"
Here is an explanation of how the Apex Legends orientation matches function for new players starting in season 16.
The Orientation Match system, which is now accessible to new players, will now place them on a server that contains mainly bots. This will enable them to orient themselves and complete a full loop of the BR. If you're one of those new players, you can also queue up alongside someone who has played the game before if they're showing you around.
Except for your team, there will be 16 squads of robots. As the matches go on, there is also a chance that four squads will have actual players. These contests will all be held at Kings Canyon. Players will "graduate" and be included in the entire population with the rest of the player base once they have earned enough reps by placing first or among the top 5.
