The free-to-play first-person shooter Valorant from Riot Games is among the most well-known titles in its category worldwide. Thanks to its distinctive gameplay style and the new content that the developers are constantly releasing, this game has won the hearts of gamers all over the world.
Additionally, gamers recently received a new Valorant Abyssal 2022 skin bundle in addition to Patch 5.10, which also included several significant agent enhancements, gameplay system changes, and game bug fixes.
Now that Valo Patch 5.11 has been dropped, Riot will shortly release Valorant 5.12. As was already known before the official announcement, Riot Games has big Chamber changes and nerfs planned for the new patch.
Prior to VALORANT Champions 2022, the 5.03 patch significantly nerfed Chamber. With a choice percentage of 67.44%, Chamber was still the most chosen Agent in the VALORANT Champions. Currently, Riot has stated that Chamber will receive a number of modifications to balance the Agent's performance in the Valorant 5.12 Patch, following a persistent call from the community for much-needed nerfs.

Valorant 5.12 Patch - Chamber nerfs
Chamber has consistently exerted dominance in Valorant, to the point where the community has long demanded nerfs for the Agent. Even after that, some fans have offered their own suggestions about how to balance the Sentinel.
In order to make him an adaptable and balanced Agent in the meta, Riot Games realized that Chamber needed the appropriate improvements.
It has been made known that the Chamber will undergo significant changes with the Valorant 5.12 patch. Massive changes will be made to all of his skills. While Chamber's Headhunter and Tour De Force will get severe nerfs, his Rendezvous and Trademark will undergo entire changes.

Valorant Chamber nerfs in Patch 5.12
While sharing views on Chamber nerfs and their goal for Chamber's kit, the developer team stated, "In Patch 5.12, we’ll be making a number of changes to address these concerns. With this update, we want to sharpen Chamber’s identity as a precision-focused Sentinel that puts his body on the line to hold areas, while significantly reducing his sphere of influence and introducing more counterplay for opponents."
Detailing the goals, the devs said, "There were a number of goals we established when looking at Chamber, but two largely stuck out:
- Strike an appreciable balance between his first angle power and counterplay avenues
- Drive more deliberate thought into the setup
- “Counterplay” and “Deliberate” are foundational principles."
The full list of Chamber nerfs coming in the upcoming 5.12 patch is as follows:
- Headhunter (Q)
- Updated Stability Curve
- Spread increased after 2nd bullet, when spamming. This is explicitly meant to reduce low-precision body-shot spam as an effective combat measure.
- Rendezvous (E)
- Chamber now places a single anchor that can be teleported to while inside its range
- Radius increased 15m ⇒ 26m
- Removed teleport activation height restriction
- You can teleport to the Anchor while on different verticality so long as you are within its radius.
- Increased weapon equip time after teleporting 0.4s ⇒ 0.7s
- Headhunter is unaffected by this change
- Destroying Rendezvous teleport anchor now disables it for the remainder of the round, instead of being placed on a cooldown.
- Chamber no longer incurs an additional cooldown when recalling his Anchor after teleporting.
- Trademark (C)
- The trap is now range restricted
- Trademark will disable when Chamber moves out of range, and reactivate once he is inside.
- Can now be recalled mid-round
- Does not require line of sight
- 30s cooldown on recall
- Destruction remains permanent
- Initial Arm Time increased 2s ⇒ 4s
- Health Increased 1 ⇒ 20
- Tour De Force (X)
- Fire rate decreased by 57.5%
- Slow
- This applies to both Trademark and Tour De Force
- Slow reduced from 50% ⇒ 40%
- Duration reduced from 6s ⇒ 4s
- Reduced size by 30%
