What is Armored Core 6 release date?

The precise Armored Core 6 release date is currently unknown. But according to a tweet, FromSoftware has openings for "many new projects."

Since Elden Ring is presently taking up the developer FromSoftware's time, it's unlikely that the new Armored Core game will release before 2023. Although it's not impossible, the developer would probably avoid releasing two major games in the same year.

A reported leak in 2022 from a Resetera user intrigued enthusiasts of Armored Core because it implied that a new Armored Core game would be forthcoming.

Red Liqourice, a user of Resetera, is the source of this leak. He asserts that FromSoftware itself gave him a survey regarding a game that sounded remarkably similar to Armored Core.

There were some questions on Elden Ring and other projects in this survey. A "sci-fi environment designed by Hidetaka Miyazaki" with "three-dimensional, dynamic action" and a "great degree of freedom in personalization" was also mentioned in the text.

The poll that may have mentioned Armoured Core 6 stated, "The game is a third-person shooter mecha action title that lets you move around an overwhelmingly scaled map representing a unique sci-fi world with dynamic mech action. You will face strong enemies and fierce battles both long and short-range using guns and blades."

This looks exactly like a depiction of a new Armored Core game, as you would know if you have ever played the game.

Armored Core 6 Gameplay and Features Leaks

The fans will find this news to be exciting. Other people also received the same survey and afterward claimed to have seen screenshots and videos of the impending Armored Core 6.

Those that received the survey received a description of the game, images, and two brief gameplay videos. The first video purports to show a boss battle, while the second displays a snowy landscape.

"I was really astonished to be watching a video of a future FromSoft game unexpectedly this morning, extremely unexpected," one respondent to the survey remarked. Another person said that the boss battles in Armored Core reminded them of Dark Souls, even though the series is based on a different genre.

The tweet that follows contains the Armored Core 6 screenshots. These pictures are badly watermarked, though. Only individuals who participated in the survey were supposed to see them.

The game will also offer a tonne of customizability, enabling players to create the ideal mech to suit their playing style, whether they want to concentrate on close-quarters combat or face hordes of adversaries.

A few weeks before Elden Ring's debut, in January 2022, Red Liquorice released this Armored Core 6 leak. If the leak is accurate, it would mean that Armored Core 6 and Elden Ring were both being developed at the same time. However, it is always advisable to maintain suspicion in the absence of official confirmation.

Armored Core 6 Platforms

PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will be the first platforms for which the Armored Core 6 will be released.
