Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover

One of the game's main selling points is its extensive history of crossovers. Through several agreements, Epic Games has built up a sizable library of licensed characters that players can inhabit while competing for a Battle Royale. From Star Wars to Naruto, Fortnite has grown to be a hugely profitable platform that not only allows Epic to make money but also allows numerous businesses and artists to advertise.

However, with any collaboration, getting leaks on them is a sure event. And new leaks have revealed the new Fortnite collaboration skins that are set to release in the near future.

Many fans wonder what Epic Games will add to Fortnite next after the recent addition of Hulk through its many crossovers, and new leaks have hinted at a potential My Hero Academia crossover.

The anticipation for a purported collaboration between Fortnite and My Hero Academia is increasingly growing as leaks have also indicated the new Fortnite Deku skin will be released in the game.

So, let's get to know what has been revealed about the Fortnite My Hero Academia skins, release date, price, and more.

Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover

Beginning with Chapter 1: Season 4, Fortnite has had a tonne of crossovers over the years. Epic Games came up with the brilliant idea to work with Marvel in the fourth season of Fortnite to advertise the debut of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War after the game experienced a stratospheric spike in popularity between 2017 and 2018.

Not only did it increase their financial balance, but it also drew in a lot of new players who loved the notion of dressing like their preferred gaming character. As a result, several gaming characters like Naruto, Rick and Monty, and real-life celebrities like Loki, Ariana Grande, and more have all made appearances in Epic Games' battle royale, Fortnite.

However, the new information is about a Fortnite crossover with the critically successful My Hero Academia anime.

One of the most well-known animes in the world is My Hero Academia, and many anime viewers are familiar with the term "Plus Ultra." According to an official tweet from the Fortnite account, these heroes will now enter the battle royale. Players can easily see the Fortnite and My Hero Academia trademarks in the title graphic.

Fortnite x My Hero Academia - Deku skins

It seems like fans will get to see a few Fortnite My Hero Academia skins as leakers have revealed that skins for a variety of characters, including Deku, will be available in the game.

It was only natural for Epic Games to provide another set of anime skins given the widespread adoration for anime characters. Around the 1:15 mark in the official Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 trailer, Izuku Midoriya, popularly known as Deku, can be seen using his Quirk to deliver a punch. A slower pace is used in the sequence to highlight the character.

Since they are also the most well-known Manga characters, Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Uraraka, and All Might seem to make the most sense, but Epic hasn't yet confirmed any of this.

Moreover, interest in the impending reveal was initially aroused by a picture of what appeared to be an All Might-inspired pickaxe that user @ShiinaBR shared on Twitter.

Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover release date

There were several speculations on the possible Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover release date, however, now Epic Games has formally announced the date.

December 16th, 2022 the Fortnite x My Hero Academia skins and cosmetics will be released.

There is no better moment to announce Deku's arrival in Fortnite as the last season, which began in September, is now in progress.

Although it's uncertain how comprehensive this partnership will be, similar anime projects in the past have added new Mythic places and weaponry based on the property they were inspired by. Players will soon be able to test out MHA's power in Fortnite less than a week from now, in only five days.

Fortnite x My Hero Academia skin price

Unlike the release date, the devs have not announced any details on Fortnite x My Hero Academia crossover cosmetics price, yet we should also expect the skins' prices to be consistent with those of Epic's other products, so there should be no surprises for seasoned gamers.

However, they have yet to be confirmed and even leakers are unaware of this part.

We were able to see none other than Izuku Midoriya, the teenage hero known as Deku, unleash a Detroit Smash in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 gameplay footage. In a manner similar to how the Kamehameha from Dragon Ball operated during Chapter 3 Season 3, the Detroit Smash will be a new Mythical Weapon in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

It appears that its effect could be just as strong, if not stronger, than the previous one, firing a huge front-facing energy wave that causes significant damage and completely destroys the surroundings.

The reports can only be verified by Epic Games' statement, though. So, it is suggested to wait for the official announcement on the Fortnite x My Hero Academia cosmetics and the addition of Deku Fortnite skin. So don’t get your hopes up too high.
