A mysterious treasure box image has been teased on Twitter by the official Pokemon account. Fans can cycle among the many views of the treasure box on the page they are directed to after clicking the link. Although it's likely that the treasure chest has something to do with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it hasn't yet been confirmed, so fans should be aware of that.

The announcement may be made as soon as Sunday, November 6, at 6am PT. It's highly plausible that this tease has a connection to the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet game as it won't be out for another two weeks.

Several new Pokemon that will appear in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been unveiled, but leaks suggest that there will be many more in the final roster.

PokeMiners, a well-known data leaker and data miner, discovered a file called "pmMystery" published to Pokémon GO on November 4th, 2022, exhibiting 3D assets of an unreleased Pokémon Scarlet and Violet game.

The Pokémon's name, "pm1080," alludes to its national dex position, which Centro estimates to be #978 but might be #1080.

Moreover, numerous Pokémon GO Trainers all around the world started seeing golden PokéStops and the odd new Coin Pokémon.

The gameplay trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which debuted on October 6, 2022, included this Coin Pokémon as well.
