Back on Nov 8, League of Legends Designers on the Summoner's Rift team's RiotPhroxzon stated regarding the LoL 12.22 patch, "No patch preview today as we prep for Preseason release."

However, different devs are revealing new details, and as per the info revealed thus far, K'Shante, Cho'Gath, Nunu, and more are the champions that will receive changes to their kits with the LoL 12.22 patch.

Riot Games intends to significantly alter the champion meta as the game gradually reaches its pre-season period. Some of the key components of League of Legends Patch 12.22 include the buffs that will be granted to Cho'Gath and Nunu.

LoL Patch 12.22 System Adjustments

Regarding the system changes, developers have likewise hinted at a few System Changes that are coming in LoL patch 12.22.

• Surrender Rework in LoL Patch 12.22

In order to get ready for Preseason 2023, Riot is contemplating some big adjustments to the surrender system. On his Twitter feed, Riot Auberaun just revealed the updated Surrender vote system.

Early surrender time for AFKs is being reduced from 10 minutes to 3:30 minutes.

League of Legends 12.22 patch release date

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, the League of Legends patch 12.22 will be released officially to the players. As per the usual time schedule, LoL Patch 12.22 release time will be:

• 3 AM PT (NA)
• 5 AM GMT (EUW)
• 3 AM CET (EUNE)
• 8 AM KR (Korea)

There can be downtime when the patch begins to roll out and the LoL servers will be disabled for almost 3 hours.
