What to expect from T1 vs. DRX - the LoL Worlds 2022 finals

Twelve teams are split into two groups for the LoL Worlds Tournament, where they compete in a single round-robin format. The top teams in each group proceed to the group stage, and all games are played in a Bo1 format. Each group's second, third, and fourth-place teams move on to Play-In: Round 2, while its bottom two teams are eliminated.

LoL Worlds 2022 Play In Round 2
Play-In Round 1 took place between October 3 and October 4.
In Round 2, six teams from Play-In: Round 1 compete. The 3rd and 4th-placed teams from the same Round 1 group square off, and the victor advances to play the 2nd-placed club from the opposing group. Every match is a Bo5, with two winners moving on to the group stage and four losers being eliminated.

LoL Worlds 2022 Group Stage
Group Stage took place from October 7–10 and 13–16.
Twelve teams with direct entrance from China, South Korea, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Vietnam join four teams from the Play-In Stage.
The Double Round Robin format is used as all sixteen teams are split into four groups and face one another. The Bo1 format is used for all games, with the top two teams from each group moving on to the knockout stage and the bottom two teams from each group being eliminated.

LoL Worlds 2022 Knockout Stage
The Knockout Stage took place from October 20 to 23; October 29 to 30; and November 5.
Eight teams compete in a single elimination bracket, where the winner of each group plays the winner of the other group's second-place team. The winning team from each group will get to choose its opponent's side in the quarterfinals. Game 1's side selection is allowed for teams with side selection privileges, and game 2's side selection is allowed for the losing team. And here every match is Bo5.
