Because LoL Season 13 will soon be here, bringing three new Champions, significant Jungling Changes, Chemtech Drake, Ahri ASU, Aurelion Sol CGU, and updated Gothic Skin/Fright Night skins, Riot Games has stated hinting at the upcoming updates.

The brand-new champions and the ASU updates/reworks within the game have been given an estimated release order by the League of Legends developers from the Shanghai office, as was previously reported.
The skin team will be in charge of the LoL Ahri ASU, while the champion design team will be in charge of the other projects. Well, as per the given order, early 2023 is the anticipated LoL Ahri ASU release date.

League of Legends Ahri ASU release date leak
Concerning the graphical upgrades, the Ahri ASU is at the top of the list. And Big Bad Bear leaked new information when he released a video about the likely LoL Ahri ASU release date.
According to the most recent leak, the Ahri ASU upgrade and Lunar New Year Ahri skin will both be made available at the same time. Additionally, according to the rumour, Ahri will wear a bunny mask along with the skin as a reference to the Chinese New Year's Year of the Rabbit.
On January 22, 2023, the Lunar New Year will begin earlier than normal. And if the leak on the possible tribute is true then, Ahri ASU might be released in Patch 13.1.
The next PBE update is scheduled for December 6, 2022 since the update must first go live on PBE. Hence, the Ahri ASU and the Lunar New Year Event which may be included in Patch 13.1 will be first seen on December 6, 2022.
It is probable that the upcoming League of Legends Ahri ASU will continuously experience some new modifications, though, given enough time between the announcement and League of Legends patch 12.23 on December 7.
