Splatoon 3 gameplay leaks reveal the ending less than a week before launch.
Splatoon 3 ending gameplay clips leaked |
It’s a rare and unfortunate occurrence for a game to be leaked in a major way. It is even more unfortunate when it happens just days before the official release. And this regrettable thing has happened to the latest title in the Splatoon series, Splatoon 3.
This famous third-person shooter developed by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch has been the victim of a large set of social media leaks and physical leaks, as a store is supposedly already sending out the physical copies of the game.
The reports say you can even find a Splatoon 3 cracked version on the internet. That means you could pirate Splatoon 3 without even having to purchase it. The official release date of Splatoon 3 is September 9, 2022.
As to the social media leaks, a guy with the handle @Splatoon3Leaks (an entire account dedicated just to Splatoon 3 leaks!) has uploaded about 30 clips of the game in its single-player mode. However, at the time this post is being published, several of these clips have been taken down due to copyright issues.

Splatoon 3 ending leaks
This Splatoon 3 ending leak first came into the public eye because of VGC. VGC reported on this Twitter account. The defense of this user was that they don’t have a copy of this game themselves. They are only sharing the content they have gotten from somebody.
And interestingly enough, the Splatoon 3 gameplay clips that this guy has put up - show players who have made their way far into the single-player campaign. Some have even completed it entirely.
Also, even though physical copies are being sold and Splatoon 3 cracked versions are available online, it’s obvious that you would not be able to play Splatoon 3 in multiplayer mode until the official servers go live on September 9.
Take a look at this Twitter post that shares their experience buying a physical copy of Splatoon 3 that ‘somebody’ got it ‘early.’

The early copies of the game Xenoblade Chronicles 3 were also out on the market long before its official release, describing a near identical event to what we have here. Another fine example would be Pokèmon Legends Arceus. Two weeks before the game launched, players on Twitch were streaming a pirated version of the title. One last example: in 2020, Nintendo publicly cut ties with a Portuguese website because it had some pre-launch Pokèmon Sword and Shield leaks.

Continuous leaks on Splatoon 3 and other Nintendo titles
Nintendo will have to dig deep to be able to withstand all the loss that has resulted from the Splatoon 3 content leaks across various social media platforms, like YouTube, Twitter, and more. No word of a lie, there are entire cutscenes, from start to finish, that has been put up on YouTube. And before Nintendo can even register what has happened, these videos have gathered tens of thousands of views.
At the moment, we don’t even know whether Nintendo plans to act against those who have been posting these Splatoon 3 spoilers of the single-player mode.
It seems that Nintendo has suffered such losses quite frequently recently. PC emulations and broken street dates have become common issues for this developer. Many recent titles appear just before their official release dates on file-sharing sites.
A similar incident took place in the case of Mario Party Superstars and Pokèmon Brilliant Daimons & Shining Pearl. For the latter, in November 2021, also ten days before the release, players on Twitch were live streaming copies of the title. And though the leaks are not that much right now nor that explicit, there is abundant content about Pokèmon Scarlet and Violet.
