The Kunai blades will be the offensive measure, while the cards will be the defensive ones, shielding friends and allies from enemy attacks for some time. Check out the detailed info on Overwatch 2 Kiriko abilities below:
- Protections Suzu:
With impact, friends nearby will be rendered invulnerable for a while and will be rid of almost all negative effects.
- Kunai:
As mentioned, this is the offensive measure that Kiriko uses. It’s a thrown projectile that does critical damage.
- Healing Ofuda:
This ability allows Kiriko to direct a burst of healing talismans that can sniff out particular allies.
- Swift Step:
With this, Kiriko can teleport anywhere to an ally, walls being no barriers with this one.
- Kiriko's Passive (Wall Climb)
This is simple. Kiriko jumps up at the walls and scales them.

The skills clearly show the “support” that support hero Kiriko offers her teammates. It seems that Kiriko is going to be one of the fast-paced supports in Overwatch 2. More so than others of her kind. If you can time it correctly, then the Protection Suzu will prove to be life-saving for Kiriko and her allies, protecting against lethal attacks, even Junkrat’s Ultimate Attack.
Overwatch 2 Season 1 starts the same day that the game launches, October 4, 2022. Kiriko is the final new character you will be seeing in the title. Other than her, Sojourn and Junkerqueen are two Overwatch 2 heroes that have already been announced officially.
There’s also the content roadmap of Season 1 that was shared by Blizzard Entertainment. There will be some special skins in the game it seems and also a limited-time event that has been given the appellation Junkerstein’s Revenge.
In total, we can expect six new maps in Season 1 of Overwatch 2. And of course, there will be the classic maps and modes in addition to this. There will also be a new Push mode and improvements to the existing Competitive Mode. Lot’s of stuff to look forward to in this title.
