Riot Games' 2009 introduction of the multiplayer online combat arena video game League of Legends has recently come to dominate the market. And given how thrilling and fun it is, it has every right to.

It's pretty amazing how developers have managed to capture gamers' hearts by consistently delivering new stuff. This year, for instance, Riot Games has produced some of the most beautiful skins ever. In the long run, there will be a lot more.

The names Anima Squad, High Noon, Star Guardian, and others come to mind when talking about the significant skin lines that have so far been released in 2022. But before Riot Games made them public, most of these skins were leaked.

However, Riot is developing a new skin line called Three Honors, which can only be acquired by having good Honor, as the devs want to increase the benefits received from good Honor.

For those who are unaware, the LoL Honor system rewards players who have positive effects on both the game and the experiences of other players, therefore encouraging players to behave well. So, read the details on the new Three Honor skinline – Three Honors Malzahar below.

Earlier, Riot introduced the League of Legends Honor system, which allows players to recognize their teammates in one of three categories at the conclusion of each game: Stayed Cool, Great Shotcalling, or GG 3. The honor ratings of the entire team increase when every member of the squad offers a compliment.

By simply increasing their Honor level, players can gain access to a variety of benefits, including Key Fragments, Champion Shards, Honor Capsules, Honor Orbs, Mastery Chests, and Honor 5 Tokens. Players can purchase Medieval Twitch, Gray Warwick, and their chromas for Honor 5 Tokens.

Riot now intends to increase the rewards received for achieving Honor. As a result, they are introducing a brand-new - LoL Three Honors skinline, which can only be acquired by possessing high Honor.

While detailing the recent changes, TimTamMonster, the Product Lead for Behavioral Systems in LoL stated, "On to today’s exciting announcement—we want to ensure you continue to feel that your efforts to behave positively are directly recognized with appropriate rewards."

As revealed officially, Three Honors Malzahar is the first skin of this new skin collection.

This skin from the upcoming Three Honors skin range will be awarded to players who have attained Honor level 5.

The LoL Three Honors Malzahar Splash art has still not been provided by Riot Games. They simply made the concept art available which is a work in progress.

How to get League of Legends Three Honor skins

Skin from the upcoming Three Honors skin range will be awarded to players who have attained Honor level 5. Three Honors Malzahar is the first skin of this new skin collection.

By reaching Honor level 5, which is the greatest degree of Honor, players can obtain Three Honors Malzahar, according to a TimTamMonster announcement.

You can receive the Three Honors Malzahar skin for free if you reach Honor level 5 by the time it becomes available and has an Honor 5 Token. If not, you will need to honor up in order to get the skin. Playing more matches will help you make progress after the first few, so that's the first thing you can do to get there.

Apart from this the developer also detailed the Behaviors that positively and negatively affect your Honor score.

Behaviors that positively affect your Honor score:

If everyone on your team honors someone, each of you gets an extra increase to your honor score, even if you weren't directly honored.
You receive extra honor from matchmade teammates over premade teammates.
The amount of honor you receive: Ranked Solo = Ranked Flex > Normals = ARAM = Event Modes > Co-op vs AI.

League of Legends Three Honor skins Release date

From what we can tell from the announcement, the League of Legends Three Honor skin release date would be with that of Season 12 end. Now LoL Season 12 is set to come to an end in December 2022.

The previous Honor system has received some backlash from the players, so with Riot always trying to improve their content, it is expected that this new change in the system and the new Three Honor skins would work better.

But given that these are just assumptions, we cannot be certain of anything or fact on the release date as such. It is better if all of us took the information on the release window with a pinch of salt.
