Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm
With Sens, a new map, elite, and more, Operation Vector Glare kicked off Rainbow Six Year 7 in style. Now the next season, Rainbow Six Y7S3 Operation Brutal Swarm will keep the game continued.
Earlier the Rainbow Six update was rumored to be called Operation Brutal Swarm, which will include a new map, another operator, and several major components that were teased at the start of 2022. And now Ubisoft has officially announced the Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm as Year 7 Season 3 operation.
Fans can take note that Ubisoft has renamed Siege's new season "Operation," which had been withdrawn since Year 6 began. Even the first season of Year 7 was titled 'Y7S1 Vector Glare,' with no Operation tag, thus this modification could have a deeper purpose.
Ubisoft has promised that the new Y7S3 Operation Brutal Swarm will be made available to the players in the test servers on August 26th, where feedback will be taken into consideration.

Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm Operator - Rainbow Six Siege Grim
Earlier, while revealing the name of the Y7S2 operation, leaks revealed that the R6 Y7S3 operator has some in-game data and that it is possible that Ubisoft will add a proper Tutorial to R6 in Y7 Season 3 or Season 4.
Then on May 23, @Zer0Bytes revealed the exact name of the R6 Y7S3 operator, "Grim". However, no further details were found about the operator then. Then we received new leaks about the next R6 Y7S3 operator, revealing his first look along with the complete background of this new operator.
On account of the Year 7 presentation held at the beginning of the year, we definitely knew that the R6 Y7S3 operator will be from Singapore. And then the dataminers revealed that Rainbow Six Siege Grim reportedly has access to a Prismable weapon, and his gadget is named the Kawan Hive Launcher. This Kawan Hive Launcher fires a canister, releasing a cloud of bots that reveal opponents passing through it for a limited time.
Now as per the official announcement, Grim, an agent renowned for his tenacious scouting and skillful intelligence gathering, is joining Night Haven as an Attacker with a pretty peculiar unique tool: the Kawan Hive Launcher.
Grim's device is housed in a bulletproof canister that may be used to deploy it on a wall, floor, or ceiling. He captures five of them, and the ensuing swarm of bees makes any nearby defenders visible. Once they leave the swarm, they will be tracked in real-time, similar to Lion's tracking, and they will also receive a debuff in the form of visual clutter and a persistent ping, similar to Alibi's.
However, Mute jammers can halt it. Along with electricity, it can be stopped by Wamai and Jager as well.
The following weapons are included in Grim's loadout:
- Primary: IQ’s 552 Commando and the SG-CQB French Shotgun
- Secondary: Soft Breach Charges or Claymores
- Gadgets: Kawan Hive Launcher
All things considered, there's a possibility that the Rainbow Six Siege Grim operator will have a weapon like no other as the next Operation is called R6 Y7S3 Brutal Swarm.

Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm release date
In Rainbow Six Siege's Year 7, this is the third season of content. Following several teasers in the days before the aforementioned release, this new season of programming was officially announced on August 21.
September 6, 2022, has been announced as the official Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm release date.
We don't have a confirmed release time for this update at the moment. However, based on the release time for the previous season, Operation Brutal Swarm is anticipated to start at roughly 7:00 PST, 10:00 EST, and 14:00 BST.
A Colombian operator and the eventual release of the new competitive map that was originally anticipated for the Y7S3 update should come after this.
Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm map
Stadium, a Road to SI map from Rainbow Six Siege, will be added to the map library as a permanent fixture in R6 Y7S3. Given that the Rainbow Six Siege Stadium map was previously only accessible for a few weeks in a limited-time playlist, game designer Josam L René said this move represented a "lost opportunity" for the Rainbow Six Siege team.
Players should anticipate being faced with the unique task of navigating two levels that have been merged while rappelling into the Stadium in Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm because this map has been upgraded to accommodate normal play.
Now, previously it was suggested that Operation Brutal Swarm will offer a new map in Rainbow Six Y7 Season 3, following the debut of Emerald Plains in Operation Demon Veil. However, that is not the case anymore.
Before revealing Operation Brutal Swarm, Ubisoft said that the map it had originally planned to release alongside the update will now be included in the Y7S4 content update. But it doesn't imply there aren't any upcoming developments in the world of maps as Ubisoft will increase the pregame map vote options from three to five in this release.
This is being done to address the lack of map diversity in the game and provide players with a somewhat less predictable scenario.

Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm - Elite
R6 Operation Brutal Swarm will provide the typical slew of battle passes and aesthetics, but a new Elite skin is also on its way.
The first mention of the Rainbow Six Castle elite skin was made in March 2022 by well-known leaker Zer0Bytes, who said that both Echo and Castle would get the Rainbow Six elite skin in Y7S2.
Well, it has now been confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege Castle Elite Skin is coming in R6 Y7S3.
The wait is almost over! Castle is on the scene with a new Elite Set available August 22! pic.twitter.com/vmnzyiRQmN

The character of Omar Little from the television series The Wire is a major influence on the R6 Castle elite skin set, according to the video shared on Twitter.
Moreover, it wouldn't be wrong if we call this Rainbow Six Seige Castle elite skin one of our best Rainbow Six Siege elite sets to date. Its fierce design is strikingly comparable to elite sets made by Glaz or Pulse.
Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm - Impact EMP Grenade
The Impact EMP Grenade is a brand-new throwable weapon introduced with R6 Y7S3 to assist players in fending off particular uncommon weapons that could be hindering their attacking attempts. Given its name, this will essentially perform what you would anticipate.
Given Thatcher's domination, Ubisoft is introducing a new secondary weapon in the form of Impact EMP Grenades, which might upend the meta. Players can temporarily disable surrounding electronic gadgets by tossing this Impact EMP Grenade, which will activate and explode upon impact.
At the commencement of Operation Brutal Swarm, Blackbeard, Montagne, Dokkaebi, Nokk, Gridlock, Sledge, Lion, and Osa will all have access to the Impact EMP Grenade as a third gadget option.

Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm - LMGs Balance changes
The balancing adjustments for LMGs in Rainbow Six Siege were initially scheduled for Operation Vector Glare but were somewhat postponed. Now that Operation Brutal Swarm in Year 7 Season 3 is underway, the developer's intended answer is prepared.
Operation Brutal Swarm, according to creative director Alexander Karpazis, is "the season of balancing," he noted during the presentation.
The LMG meta, where players like Finka and Zofia have seen their pick rates and effectiveness rise recently, is the focus of Brutal Swarm. The issue is that attackers can pre-fire anticipated defender locations or win several gunfights with impunity by using the LMG's enormous magazine count.
Every gun in the game will have its recoil completely overhauled as part of the alleged patch, which Ubisoft hopes will encourage more tactical encounters and less full-auto firing. To encourage proper trigger discipline, control, and crosshair placement, the recoil is enhanced in both the vertical and horizontal directions.
However, recoil will be more influenced by attachments, and all guns will be far more customizable.
Rainbow Six Operation Brutal Swarm - Reputation System Phase 2
The second stage of Ubisoft's Reputation System updates is being implemented across both platforms in R6 Y7S3. This time, the problem of abusive text chat will be dealt with through the use of penalty mutes and bans for offenders. Unmuting a banned person is an interesting option; however, if they are serving a punishment for offensive text chat, they will be muted by default.
Going forward, players will also be capable of reporting any form of cheating through Siege's match replay system, which should help penalize players who leave matches before their actions are reported.
Other changes are deserving of mention too. Dokkaebi's Logic Bomb will now prevent dead defenders from using cameras like it does with alive ones, while Rook's armor plates will allow DBNO defenders to self-revive.

Additionally, Ubisoft will begin dividing the balance adjustments it makes between PC and Console. In order to encourage more tactical gunplay and, in a sense, return to the core of the Rainbow Six Siege experience, a new recoil control system is being added to the PC version of the game. All weapons' attachment possibilities are going to be rearranged, although console players should also anticipate this.
