Now even though this isn't much, previous leaks have also shared some data on Qiaoying and Fontaine's connection.

Previously during the version 2.7 release, Genshin World shared some details on Fontaine on their Facebook account. Discussing the NPC bernart in version 2.7, the leaker revealed:

Genshin Impact Fontaine, as per the leak, is a two-faced nation, where a few find it to be a convenient place to live while others find it to be a source of misery and despair.

Fontaine has been referenced several times during the Genshin Impact narrative. It is often recognized as the birthplace of the Kamera and a technologically advanced region. Citizens of Fontaine can likewise enjoy movies and current music, such as rock 'n' roll, all of which began in the country.

Other than Genshin Intel, another reliable leaker, TZ also shared some leaks on Genshin Impact Fontaine. Discussing the Genshin Impact Fontaine/Sumeru Crumbs, the leaker shared some dialogues between Liben and MC:

Then in the 2.7 Hearth of the Machine event. Its description reads:

"A toy merchant from Fontaine created a device that can create toys and furnishings as long as the right materials are inserted into it. Help him gather the materials with which some test products might be made."

Again, Fontaine has been referenced in the game a lot of times, but will not be released anytime soon.

Genshin Impact Fontaine release date

Genshin's Fontaine was listed as Chapter IV in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline preview, with its Archon Quest line dubbed 'Masquerade of the Guilty.' However, Fontaine's release date is yet to be revealed by HoYoverse.

Even though it is a given that Fontaine will be released once we've finished Genshin Impact's Sumeru coming with version 3.0, we are yet to get the exact date of Genshin Impact Fontaine's release.

Recently, in July 2022, it was revealed by the leaks that dispatch servers now show 3.7 as the last patch before 4.0 (they added 3.7 a few days ago). These are the same dispatch servers that showed 2.8 is the last patch before 3.0 so they do have some reliability.

However, as a word of caution, HoYoverse added 3.7 straight instead of adding 3.5 and 3.6 so there is a possibility that they may be working on something.

Back in Jan 2022, it was claimed by the leaks that HoYoverse's current progress is on 3.4 and early Fontaine. So, it is believed that Genshin Impact Fontaine's release date will be scheduled for version 4.0.

The Inazuma region was launched by HoYoverse in July 2021, and leaks claimed that it will continue until August 2022, till the release of Sumeru. Now, of course, that has proven to be true, so if we are to guess Fontaine's release date, then it is possible that we won't reach Genshin Fontaine until about July-August 2023 if our Sumeru expedition lasts as long as Inazuma's did.

This pair of Genshin twins actually hail from Fontaine, a region inspired by France, and were actually introduced to the players in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview, which displayed various upcoming characters.

It is believed that if Fontaine will be released in Genshin Impact version 4.0, then HoYoverse will also introduce the magician Fontaine twins to the players.

However, similar to all the leaks, players should take these Genshin Impact Fontaine leaks with a grain of salt until HoYoverse officially reveals any details as we are far away from Genshin 4.0 version and a lot can be changed to the game's setting and designs before the release of the new Fontaine region in the main game.
