- Before participating in the event until August 15, you must finish the Archon quest "Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom" and Diluc's story quest "Noctua Chapter: Act I - Darknight Hero's Alibi."
- It's vital to keep in mind that even while the Hidden Strife quest will begin on July 27, most of its challenges will be time-locked, with only one being accessible every day.
- There will be a marking on the map designating the location of the event once it begins. To begin the event, players must travel to that area.
- For the first seven days of the event, there will be seven challenges, and each day just one will be unlocked.
- The challenge will have three separate game modes: Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate.

- Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate are the three levels of difficulty available in Vicious Battle Mode. You can directly claim rewards for each difficulty setting below it by finishing a challenge on a higher difficulty setting.
- Only after beating Desperate Difficulty in Vicious Battle Mode does Dire Straits Mode become accessible.
