Partizan Esports Have Dreams of League of Legends Glory!
It has been 5 long years since Partizan Esports competed in League of Legends. The team has come out of hibernation and built a team around AljoÅ¡a “Milica” Kovandžić. Partizan has grand plans for the new squad, including winning the Esports Balkan League (EBL) and, if things go well, the EU Masters!
Why Did Partizan Esports Stop Playing League of Legends?
Partizan's first foray into League of Legends was back in 2017. They decided to sign a bunch of rookies to test the waters. They competed in the Fortuna Championship Series Season 2, but things went horribly wrong. The team couldn’t even win a single match and exited the tournament with an 0-7 record. Partizan immediately shut down its LoL team, and they haven’t been seen since.
Partizan has decided to re-enter competitive League of Legends gaming thanks in part to Riot’s commitment to invest in the Balkan League. Partizan are confident they can put together a roster that can challenge the European Masters Title! They have shown they are serious by signing Colamax as a coach and AljoÅ¡a “Milica” Kovandžić as their star player.
AljoÅ¡a “Milica” Kovandžić is an experienced pro who has been competing in top-tier leagues since 2018. He is a very strong mid-laner who will bring a lot of experience and strategically solid gameplay to the team. Milica burst onto the scene when he ended up coming 5th in EU Masters when he was a part of KlikTech, a Croatian team.
He then joined Vodafone Giants Spain and played a massive role in taking that team from a lower-level side to serious contenders. His performance during the LVP SLO 2019 Summer regular season and playoffs was incredible and resulted in Vodafone Giants winning the league.
Milica continued his strong performances and helped Vodafone Giants take second in the Iberian Cup 2019 and ended up getting signed by Team Vitality and Giants. Milica’s performance was a bit up and down, and he ended up leaving the Giants. He is now back in Serbia and looking to take over the local scene and put Serbian gaming on the map!

Crvena Zvezda is the reigning champion of the League of Legends Esports Balkan League. Crvena Zvezda will be eager to crush their cross-city rivals and show them who runs Belgrade. Partizans won’t give up easily, and we expect them to build a roster that can more than compete with Crvena Zvezda!
