Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports have been hinted at by new leaks.
Persona 4 Golden |
Persona, the famous and hit video game series published by Sega, among others, and developed by Atlus, again among others, is one of those classic video game series that was launched way back in the 90s and have still remained with us for over two decades. Persona 1 was launched in 1996 and it has already come to Persona 5.
Now, frankly speaking, Altus’s Persona might have some elements that could be considered niche by some people, but ever since Persona 5 launched, it has become a huge hit and has taken a place on the unadmitted roster of great video games.
But it seems that this news has not reached Altus as fast as it reached us. Even though Persona 5 was successful, Altus has not shown great interest to take advantage of the newfound limelight, many of the previous titles in the series being unavailable or hard to get on older consoles.
But if that were the end of the story, this post might never have been written. It is rumored that the widely acclaimed Person 4 Golden will be becoming available on more platforms, implying Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports are on the way.

Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports leaks
Our source for this leak is one person that likes to be called Zippo. Now, it can be said that Zippo does have the most perfect leaking record there is in terms of reliability, but he still has given us lots of accurate leaks in the past.
Zippo claims that the Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports are "apparently complete and ready to go." Zippo’s beliefs lie in the direction of the Person 4 Golden console ports releasing for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
There is, as of yet, no mention of an Xbox version. About the costs of the Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports, Zippo is not so sure himself, but his guess is that it should be a little bit costlier than the PC port because here, you will apparently be getting a physical release.

Persona 4 Golden Platform history
Now, if you happen to be one of those arrogant enough to be ignorant about Persona (joke intended), Persona 4 was originally released just for PlayStation 2. At the time of its launch, it was a wide hit and received critical acclaim.
The developers later released a souped-up version of this called Persona 4 Golden for the PlayStation Vita. It had new content and some improvements. And until the recent 2020, we were not lucky enough to have this for PC. But Atlus was kind enough to release a PC port in 2020 for the Golden version.
Needless to say, Persona 4 Golden PC port was a huge hit among players around the globe. And it was the common man’s assumption after seeing this success that there will be more ports released soon. But it has been two years since that last release, and Atlus has stayed dormant when it comes to this game.
It is in fact a bit strange that Atlus has not made Persona 4 Golden PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 ports at the very least. This would have seemed to us to be a no-brainer move given that the franchise has always had tight connections with the PlayStation brand. But that is the reality at the moment and no one can change it.

Now the only hope for PlayStation fans seems to be Zippo’s words. If his leaks and rumors are true, then you won’t be waiting long for a Persona 4 Golden PS4 and even PS5 port. But considering the scenario surrounding the game, in this case, it would be best if you did not put all your money on this claim.
If you are a Persona fan, and if you have managed to keep up so far in the post, you probably are, then you might be excited and anticipating getting to play Persona 4 Golden on all the modern platforms. But you also be the other type of fan, the one who worries about what the future holds for this franchise.
Persona 5 launched 6 years ago, and there are no talks about Persona 6 till now. Fingers crossed, we hope that a full reveal for the game comes fast, and bring with it any and all Persona projects that Atlus might have been nurturing.
These were the complete details of the Persona 4 Golden PS4 and Switch ports and if leaks are true then players will not have to wait for long as leaks and reports eventually lead to a formal announcement.
