League of Legends EDG Worlds skins splash art has been leaked, and we have got a decent idea of what to expect from Riot.

The world of esports is a competitive one, with players and teams from all over the world competing on a daily basis in games like League of Legends to establish who is the greatest. EDG, 100 Thieves, T1, Cloud9, TSM, and Team Liquid are just a few of the many teams vying for the title of top MOBA team as more players seek professional opportunities.

A pro-League of Legends player can gain the ultimate achievement by winning the World Championship as it is League's greatest elite competition, which gives teams a chance to cement their place as the de facto top squad on the planet.
World Champions get their own skins from Riot. Last year, Riot launched DWG Kennen, Nidalee, Twisted Fate, Jhin, and Leona skins in honor of Damwon KIA's Worlds victory and now LoL EDG skins will be available this year.

League of Legends EDG's Worlds skins
The World Championships in League of Legends esports were once dominated by the Korean teams, sweeping six of the eleven events. Finally, in 2018 and 2019, Chinese teams won a series of World Championships.
Then another Korean team, Damwon KIA, won Worlds 2020 with a resounding victory and after Damwon KIA's victory, it appeared that another era of Korean dominance was about to begin, however, bringing the change, the Worlds 2021 was won by EDG for China.
During the past League of Legends World Championship, EDG's run was extremely thrilling, with every match ending in a silver medal. And then in the finals, EDG defeated the defending champion DK by 3-2.
Now Riot will release a new League of Legends EDG skins to commemorate their victory.

League of Legends EDG skins - champion choices
Ever since Riot decided to bring the World Champion skins, it has been announced that even if you played once, the Worlds skins will be for a champion that you played at Worlds with.
Tian 'Meiko' Ye, EDG's support decided to go with Yuumi, and Li 'Flandre' Xuanjun, EDG's top laner, selected Graves as their skins, both of which are their most-played champion at Worlds.
League's magical cat, Yuumi, might also have snuck a cute easter egg into Meiko's Yuumi skin, giving some similar characteristic facial markings of Meiko's own beloved cat, Raccoon.
Lee 'Scout' Yechan chose Zoe, and AD Carry Park 'Viper' Dohyeon chose Aphelios, the two legendary champions of World 2021.

League of Legends EDG skins and splash art
The LoL Worlds EDG skins have lately surfaced on the internet and thanks to the Chinese community - Weibo, we also got a look at the leaked splash art of Worlds EDG skins which was further shared by BigBadBear.

Graves, Viego, Zoe, Aphelios, and Yummi will all receive EDG skins as revealed earlier. The LoL EDG skins use a misty blue and black color pattern along with heavy metal armored attire. However, it is to be noted that EDG's emblem, which is red and black has not been affected by EDG's skins color scheme.
Similar to all the Champion skins, Yuumi's notorious book also receives a gunmetal makeover with the same grey metal highlights.
League of Legends EDG skins release date
Just a few days before MSI 2021, the DWG worlds skins were released on April 29, 2021, So it wouldn't be wrong to expect the same this year.
Hence, the LoL EDG Worlds skins should be available before or during MSI 2022 which is expected to be held in South Korea.
Riot is expected to provide some type of confirmation in the coming weeks as prior Worlds skins were typically launched in April/May.
Last year's Damwon skins were incredible. However, it appears like this year's skins will be the finest worlds skins yet. The splash art has an incredible level of detail.

Now although the League of Legends EDG skins splash art appears to be identical to various Riot official splash artworks, Riot has yet to confirm the legitimacy of the leaked photos, so it is suggested to take this with a grain of salt.
