The Genshin Impact 2.6 update was launched on March 30th, and since then, several details from the Genshin Impact 2.7 update have been revealed in the form of leaks, including the introduction of new characters and events.
There are many interesting features in the new version, such as the Liyue Chasm area, which is full of fun and thrills such as puzzles, chests, World and Archon quests, and many more. Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens (a selfie event), Vibro Crystal research event, Spices from the West event, and more are also all included in version 2.6.
However, the next update, Genshin Impact 2.7, will include a slew of interesting events that will certainly keep players occupied. Leaks have already revealed the list of upcoming Genshin Impact 2.7 events, and now fresh leaks have revealed the details of one such particular event, Perilous Trail.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Perilous Trail event leaks
So far we received several leaks on different events along with their descriptions, however, leakers were unable to disclose any data on the 2.7 Perilous Trail event.
But again, thanks to dataminers, we now have details on what players will have to do to complete the entire Genshin Impact 2.7 Perilous Trail event. As per the leaked info, the following are the Event Rules.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Perilous Trail event rules
- In the "Realms of Guile and War," players may challenge 4 different Domains, of which the 4th will only unlock once the previous 3 have been completed.
- In each of the first 3 Domains, completing 3 challenges will count as 1 combat, round completion. Each Domain will have 3 combat rounds. After each round is completed, you must re-arrange your party and Stratagem buffs according to the Domain's rules.
- In the 4th Domain, Travelers can initiate a total of 6 rounds.
- Each Domain will have 3 challenge difficulties. Completing higher difficulties will not only allow you to collect the corresponding rewards but similar rewards at lower difficulties as well.
- You will be granted Moonlit Cragstones for completing challenges, which can then be used in the Event Shop to exchange for rich rewards.

Other than the rules, we also have info on the characters that will be seen in the 2.7 Perilous Trail event.

As per the leaked data fans can see the following trial characters from different regions in this Genshin Impact 2.7 Perilous Trail event:
- Xiao
- Yanfei
- Arataki Itto
- Kuki Shinobu
- Yelan
- Yae
- Zhongli
- Diona
- Beidou
- Sayu
- Yun Jin
A prominent Genshin leaker, @BLANK also revealed that Xiao will be one of the main characters in the new Perilous Trail Chapter Storyline for Version 2.7. However, he cautioned players that his involvement in the story doesn't mean he will 100% have a re-run in the upcoming version banners.

Obviously like every event, this 2.7 Perilous Trail event will offer different rewards to the players.

The only part that was revealed earlier with regards to the 2.7 Perilous Trail reward is that they will be available in the event shop. Now new leaks have revealed that the leaked free 4-star weapon will be awarded in the 2.7 Perilous Trail event.

The Fading Twilight will be available by participating in this event.

- Substat - Energy Recharge
This weapon will come with 1 of 3 buffs. Each of the 3 buffs will increase the DMG dealt by the character by [6%/10%/14%] / [7.5%/12.5%/17.5%] / [9%/15%/21%] / [10.5%/17.5%/24.5%] / [12%/20%/28%] respectively.
When the character hits an opponent, the buff will change to the next effect type. This can be triggered once every 7 secs and can be triggered even if the character is off-field.

How to complete each Genshin Impact 2.7 Perilous Trail event realms
As stated above, players will have to complete 4 different Domains, whereas the 4th one will only be unlocked once the previous 3 have been completed.
Leaks have additionally revealed how players can complete these 2.7 Perilous Trail Realms. Read the details below.
- 2.7 Perilous Trail Realm 1
Interact with a mysterious wooden board in a specific place to visit the Realms of Guile and War and take part in the combat challenge.
You must continuously defeat opponents within the Realms of Guile and War. Complete 3 challenges to finish 1 combat round. When each combat round ends, your progress will automatically be saved. If you fail or leave mid-battle, you will start from the last battle you were at by default.
When each combat round ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. Only one member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode.
You can equip a maximum of 3 Stratagems per combat round that will provide buffs in battle. When each combat round ends, 5 Stratagems will be drawn out at random to be used in the next round. You may consume Stratagem Shards to redraw Stratagems or to select a previously equipped Stratagem for continued use.

- 2.7 Perilous Trail Realm 2
When each combat round ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. 2 random members of the current party will be rendered unable to proceed, while everyone else will continue on.
- 2.7 Perilous Trail Realm 3
When each combat round ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. None of the current characters can proceed to the next battle.
- 2.7 Perilous Trail Realm 4
When each combat round ends and 3 challenges are completed, the current party setup must be adjusted. Only one member of the current party can be selected to continue on, while everyone else will enter recuperation mode for 2 rounds, within which they cannot be deployed into battle.
Other than the event page leak, leakers did not reveal anything new about the Genshin 2.7 Perilous Trail event, so the only option is to wait for more leaks or an official release.
